HelpKUY Royal Congrats Sign-Up
Because I have such trouble nowadays keeping up with a congrats, I'm making this one KUY. You'll keep up with ages and add children. It will be semi-structured, as in I'll give prompts and I'll say when children are born, and sometimes (if I want everyone to have the same gender for whatever reason one round) I'll say what gender. I decided to make it a royal congrats because no one has done one in a while and I like them. I'll try and have rounds up every day to every other day, and I want to cover a few generations.
So, to set up your royal family, choose a political system: kingdom/queendom, dictatorship, empire, theocracy, city-state, etc. Decide what kind of power your ruler has, from absolute to being only a figurehead. Name your kingdom/empire/whatever. Choose what language your kingdom is going to use (you can use more than one, but one will be the main language; non-ruling spouses can also be foreign-born) and name your royal couple, include a house name. Decide which will rule and list her/him first. Ruling women are obviously fine, as are same-sex couples. Decide on a general time-period "feel" for your game, anything from ancient tribal to far in the future. It doesn't have to be set in this world. In your sign-up, tell us about your kingdom.
Rules:
1. Since it's KUY and attempting to be relatively fast-moving, I won't drop unless it becomes obvious you've abandoned the game (four rounds in a row missed or so.) If you're going to miss multiple rounds please let me know.

Prompt for sign-up: A new ruler has just come to power. How did the new monarch come to power? Was it expected or not that s/he inherit the throne? S/he is very young and many fear very inexperienced. Shortly after coronation, the new monarch married. Was it a hurried marriage or planned for years? Was it a political alliance, a love match, or both? Whatever the circumstances, the marriage is a popular move and all seem to approve of the new young consort. Tell us about the land they now rule, the powers the ruler has, others in the royal family, etc.

Of the Royal House of Tidendoar, of the Empire of Roelandoar.
In the dark days of Roelandoar, the Queso-Merelda were on the brink of war, threatening to destroy all that Roalandoarians had ever known. The Queso-Merelda were close to destoying the world of Mos Westers, for a cloud of evil had risen over them, and had taken control of the Queso-Merelda. Unfortunately, the Queso-Merelda were weak minded and fell into the trap of the cloud of evil. No one knows what supernatural force has the mind and power to do this, by the Queso-Merelda became their slaves. Now, the only thing that could possibly stop the evil is Roelandoar. Roelandor is a country full of knowledge, trained forces, and magicians. The Roalandor Emperor, Emperor Minus, was unaccustomed to these kinds of problems. As a result, Emperor Minus was killed in a negotiation with the Queso-Mereldan king. A new Emperor needed to be appointed. The scholars of the Roelandoar looked back into the history of Roalandoar, and found a certain line of related Emperors had lead them into victory many times. During their rule, the kingdom was prosperous. The scholars looked desperately for an heir, and after 15 years of desperate searching they found one: Kabuki Felix Alexander Fite.

Language - They have yet to decide on an 'official' language but, mostly, are a mix of Arabic and Iranian, with some Russian the more you head Northwest.
Nopalyous has just become a country after fighting against the Tricsilvians, the Thylosians, and the Danaevics, with Nasrin at the head. She proved that she could lead her people in battle but some were a little iffy on her ruling so she negotiated a peace treaty with the Tricsilvians and married their third Prince. Since said Prince has been trained to rule the Nopalyites have expressed their approval and calmed down for the time being.
Nasrin and Martin don't know each other very well at all, Nasrin had been raised to hate the ruling families of all three Kingdom's, but she finds Martin sweet, if a bit quiet, and thinks she could learn to like him over time.

Matthew, 18, was surprised when his father--only 38--died, leaving him with his five small siblings (Corinne, 9; Hugo, 6; Irwin, 5; Leonora, 2; Murray, 1; and Mahala, 3 months) to care for, as their mother--only 34--had died three months earlier giving birth to Mahala. Not knowing what to do, Matthew, immediately after his coronation, married his mother's trusted servant-girl, sixteen-year-old Leah. He and Leah had never had any connection--she was a servant, for goodness sake!--but he knew that if he could trust anyone to help take care of his siblings, it would be Leah.
Leah was surprised when Matthew asked her to marry him. She had blushed deeply, because she had been swooning over him in private ever since they were Corinne's age. "Y- yes," she replied, curtsying. "Of course, your Majesty." Matthew had stopped her, saying, "No need for formalities with me, Leah. If you are going to be my wife, you shall call me Matthew."
The wedding happened the day after Matthew's coronation--and Leah's coronation happened the day they were wed. All the people were completely shocked at Matthew's choice of a wife. Everyone had expected him to choose the high-priest's daughter, Celestia, 23. But, as the Priest of Priests and the Ruler of Heilboriginalia, Matthew had his right to chose a wife for himself. And if he thought the servant-girl Leah was the right woman, more power to him, right?

Power: The queen has all the power. The king acts as a consultant but has no say in what decisions the queen makes.
Liviana never expected to become queen of Hadriana. She was the second daughter of Queen Aquilina and the throne was supposed to go to her older sister Floriana. However, a month before Floriana's coronation, she and Queen Aquilina were assassinated by two men from a rival country, Avani. With Aquilina and Floriana's deaths, the queendom was in need of an heir. Liviana was next in line. Liviana hadn't had years of preparation for being a ruler as Floriana had. The noblemen and women in the court thought the queendom should instead go to Aquilina's sister. Liviana's father, King Maximus was insistent on Liviana being heir. The only way the people of Hadriana would accept her as queen was if she was married right away. Maximus threw her into a marriage with her long time friend Felix. Felix was the son of a rich nobleman and had a reputation of having impeccable integrity, and being kindhearted, generous, and respnsible. Liviana and Felix were best friends, but neither of them admit to being in love with the other.

If a Queen passed into the next life, her successor was not her husband, as in many societies it would be, but instead the next in line, be it a daughter, sister or even niece. Weshbun was very particular with their rules about succession, and only if a woman was of age, 17 years or older, could she take the throne. If the next in line was a child, the succession would start over, either with the late Queen's sister or niece. The husband of the deceased Queen would then revert to the title previous to his marriage with the queen.
Queen Elizabeth Anne's passing was a long time coming, unfortunately. She'd been deathly ill from the time she gave birth to still born Prince Thomas in her 37th year. It was no wonder she hadn't passed away sooner, if all was to be truthful. It was almost as if she lived just long enough to see her oldest given to a man that she picked herself. The boy, as the late Queen Elizabeth Anne met Prince Nicklas when he was just 11 years old, was sweet and thoughtful. He was also second in line to his own line, just after his brother Prince Kristopher, who was a promising young man. The arrangements were made when Prince Nicklas and Crown Princess Charlotte were 13 years and 9 years, respectively.
Prince Nicklas and Crown Princess Charlotte began courting when she was 16 years old, the proper age to begin courtship. They complimented each other well, Prince Nicklas being quiet and peaceful while Princess Charlotte chattered away until a gentle smile was coaxed from the Swede. It was when the courting began that Queen Elizabeth Anne's health began to deteriorate rapidly. Before the royal family knew it, she was gone in the night and under a fortnight of mourning later, Princess Charlotte crowned Queen. It wasn't long after that her marriage to Prince Nicklas, planned for the day, happened. She wore her mother's jewelry in her honor that day. The marriage was not only an ideal match for Charlotte Elizabeth and Nicklas, but also for that of their two kingdoms, which were now in an even stronger alliance than before.

Claudius's father was violently overthrown in a political coup. The new royal family and his surviving immediate family members were forced to withdraw to the royalist country of Severnland and give up their authority in the rest of the empire. Claudius intends to regain control of the empire.
In Severnland they speak mostly German but also have pockets of Dutch, and French speakers. Members of the royal family traditionally carry Latin and Greek monikers, hence Aloisia taking the name Ismene at her coronation.

The eldest of four Robert had been raised to become king one day. However he had not expected to take his place on the throne for some time to come. His father King Louis had been in good health and had been expected to live for many years but tragically after an accident while out hunting his father lost his life and Robert was now the new ruler of Aria. A matter of weeks after Robert was crowned he married Annabelle the daughter of a wealthy Lord. Annabelle had been friends with Robert's younger sisters and the two had known each other since infancy. The marriage had been planned between their two families for years but was not meant to have taken place for another year yet however the date was quickly moved forward after Robert's coronation.

Life Scholars at the university are required to renounce all claims to inheritance so they could better dedicate their lives to the pursuit of knowledge. As a child he prospect of ruling excited Christopher, and as a teenager it terrified him. Christopher's father had died when he was only six, and he knew that he would have to take the throne as soon as he came of age. His mother, the beloved Queen Gabrielle, had ruled as regent since then, actually leading Ardia longer than his father had.

Prince Adair, as he used to be called, had never wanted to be King, nor ever expected to be one. He was, however, called upon to rule after a plague struck the royal city of Varrion, killing not only his ruling mother, Queen Isalina, and her consort, Vasil, but his older brother, Richard, and older sister Sarova, who were first and second in line for the throne. He had wanted to take her as his bride before becoming King, but his mother had been reluctant, as had the Grand Duke. Now that he was king, there were no more objections and the pair married happily.
