HelpPartners Congrats- Round 5
Sorry this took so long to get up, I had to find the time to do it.
A number of years have past. Unfortunately, your spouse passed away not long after the birth of your last child/ren. It has taken different amounts of time for you all to find someone new. And now that you have, you've created your own Brady Bunch. For those of you who didn't decide whether you were the DH or DW or the ages of your children, I chose for you. I've set the new last name of the family to the LN of the husband to save confusion but if you would prefer the wife and future children's LNs to be hypenated, you can change it.
This round, decide how many more years you will wait to bring children into the world with this spouse (don't worry too much about how old the parents will be, it's a game). And of course, start talking names with this new partner. Have fun!

Wow well, that's a large family we've got going there... 3 girls & 5 boys - quite the handful and i can guarantee life would never be boring in the Fuller-Schofield house!
I'm quite traditional when it comes to surnames etc, so I think that if Patrick & Eliza got married, she would become a Fuller as well - but Lily, Elijah, Indi & Asher would all keep their Dad's name... Any new additions would be Fuller's though, what do you think?
As for age gaps etc, what do you think? I'm thinking maybe when Levi is 3 or 4?

Ok, so i'm going to change Eliza's surname to Fuller because i'm quite traditional like that, but I think all the Schofield kids should keep their name, and any children Patrick & Eliza have will be Fullers - agreed? As for time frames before they add to the family, maybe a couple of years when Levi is 4-5?

I like Isaac too :).
Yep, I think that sounds alright. I'd probably only use Odessa as MN, and there are others that I prefer as a middle name, but I can go with a FN, too.
Any other name ideas?

I think my favorite from your boy short list is Quentin, but I love them all. For middle names, would you like something strong, sturdy, and classic such as Quentin William, or do you prefer something bold and more unusual like Quentin Leopold? I'm just using these combos for style examples, btw. Since Josephine's mn is Leonor, Leopold probably wouldn't work for us. I do love the name, though.

I almost suggested Quentin Malachi! I love it.
I think it could be a winner, but I'll suggest a few combos anyway to see if there are any that really grab you:

We can cut Josiah since I do have a Josephina, I didn't think about that. Unless we want to just use it as a mn. It's only 9 of your ratings anyway if we want to just cut it.

Okay, I'm going to stay in character here (although I love every name chosen except Owen which I'm not quite partial to), and say that I love to pair quirky/fun names with traditional names that have a rocky popularity (names that are classic, but have not been stuck in the top 100 for the past 50-ish years). However, my own personal preference is to somehow meet in the middle and blend the two tastes for "ours"... or even come up with something slightly new. I'm for florals, some nature names, and even virtue names. What are your feelings?

One MN or two? And if we do two, do you want to have one be in a different style (classic? vintage? timeless? ethnic? etc.) that Elisabeth loves? I only ask because I've (IRL) got two boys and I now regret using only one MN... if I were to have any more children, I think I might actually switch it up and start using two MNs. (Sadly enough, I've even considered giving my 5 year-old and 7 year-old a second MN even if it's not official... and maybe making it official!)

I wanted them to be just quirky enough to work as a compromise for Thelonius' tastes combined with Elisabeth's style (as shown with the other names used), but also have a definite old-fashioned feel.
For the most part, all of the MNs have been consistently on the popularity charts for USA. There are two exceptions. The more elaborate Eleanora has fallen to disuse in favor of the less frilly Eleanor... However, I felt that with the short MN of Faye, the more elaborate Eleanora worked better in this instance. The other name that is more vintage then timeless is Theodora. However, it was chosen as a way to honor Thelonius, and the masculine form of Theodore has been consistently on the popularity charts for the USA.
