The Not so easy partner congrats - Round 2
Welcome to round 2!
I thought I'd put this one up even though everyone isn't done yet. I'm moving to another city over the weekend and the next round will be up on Monday or something like that so you all have time to finish up round 1 and 2. Everyone has received a random single child. All you have to do is to name that child! If you're doing ages you can decide how many years that has passed by. Ninor & Luvmonkeezz

A little girl!I'm on my phone so it's hard to copy and paste our girls list but I know we both really liked Elisabeth/Elizabeth, Eliza and Rose. I'd also be really happy to have Arianne (do you like Arie as a nn?), Sarah or Adelle for our first girl. What are your thoughts? :)

I'll come up with some rhythmic combo ideas this time. (:Adelle Elisabeth
Arianne Elisabeth
Arianne Rose
Arianne Adelle
Elisabeth Adelle
Elisabeth Rose
Eliza Adelle
Eliza Rose
Rose Elisabeth
Sarah Adelle
Sarah Arianne
Sarah Elisabeth
Sarah RoseI like my Elisabeth combos (as a first or middle name) from this set best. I also like Eliza Rose quite a bit. Sweet and spunky.Arie as a nickname would be fine with me if we go with Arianne as an fn.Elisabeth is interchangeable with Elizabeth. I like both but prefer Elisabeth by a small margin at the moment. And here's our master list, for future reference:Adelle

I do like Eliza Rose but I tend to avoid Rose as a mn cos every second girl's mn is Rose. Some other combos:Adelle Madeleine

Good point on Rose. From your set these are my top three:Eliza Aisling
Rose Adelle
Sarah AislingI'll also trim my list of suggestions down to a top three:Arianne Elisabeth

My favourite is Arianne Elisabeth =) What's yours? All of those combos are really pretty though so we'll definitely keep them in mind.Eliza Aisling

Hmm. Here are my impressions.Eliza Aisling - Aisling is ethereal and reminds me of faerie, while Eliza is spunky and adventurous. I like the sound and look of the combo but I am not sure if they complement each other in a way I like.
Eliza Adelle - Adelle is sweet, Eliza is spunky. They contrast and compliment each other well.
Rose Adelle - Rose is simple, sturdy floral name. Adelle makes it more upbeat. Sounds classy.
Sarah Aisling - Traditional-meets-ethereal is easy for me to swallow. It's a nice match, as if they met on the borders of the faerieland.
Sarah Elisabeth - They sound good together, but they are both rather common, traditional names. I think this combo lacks the energy of the others.
Arianne Elisabeth - Arianne feels somewhat more modern than our other selections. I think sweet, energetic ... a little bit mischievous, even. It's a nice fit with Elisabeth though I'm afraid I don't like the combo as much as you do for some reason.Ranked, in order of preference:Sarah Aisling
Eliza Adelle
Eliza Aisling
Arianne Elisabeth
Rose Adelle
Sarah Elisabeth

I like Arianne Elisabeth the most because I love Arianne. I think other more interesting options we have are Arianne Shiloh and Arianne Lydia. WDYT of those? I also adore the name Sarah so I'd be happy to name our DD Sarah Aisling if that's your pick :)
vote up1
Can we go with Sarah Aisling this round? If we get another daughter I would like Arianne Elisabeth (or another Arianne fn combo). Arianne Shiloh and Arianne Lydia don't feel quite right ... if not Arianne Elisabeth, how about Arianne Ingrid? Or maybe we should talk about that the next round. :p

Ok so these were the boys names we liked:From your PNL:
Aidan
Aldric
Andrew (usable, but possibly too commonly used for my liking...)
Benjamin (same as Andrew)
Blaise
Darien (What about Darian, or even better Darius?)
Eleazar
Elijah
Felix
Jonathon (prefer the spelling Jonathan though)
Leopold
Luke (but only as a nn for a longer version)
Mateo (or Matteo)
Matthias

Declan

Jamison (Mentioned before)
Jasper (LOVE!)
Jonah
Jonathan (Again, I agree with this spelling.)
Leander
Nathaniel (I actually like Nathanael better)
Noah
Oliver
Sebastian
SethHow do you want to do this??? I think we need to get rid of some of these names so we're working with a shorter list... Shall we pick x amount of faves from each others lists and go from there? Or just separate names out that are love vs. like?
vote up1
Maybe we should each choose five names from each other's lists that we just absolutely love and go from there?

LN: Galloway
DH: Robert Xavier Galloway
DW: Matilda Josephine (Black) Galloway
DD: ? *Okay, this is looking like it's gonna be a long post.. I'm gonna break it down into little bits. From our initial list, these are the ones I think sound best with Galloway:
Clara Galloway
Alexandra Galloway (but I don't really care for Alexandra as a first name)
Cordelia Galloway
Petra Galloway
Octavia GallowayI like the rest as middle names, though – I think the only ones left were Mariel, Lorelei and Miriam. *
My breakdown of your list: with notes under each name... Love:
Verity
I don't particularly care for Verity with Galloway, but I do really love the name. It would make a great middle though?
Diana
I really love this name, but I am a bit of a nickname person so I really especially like it in the middle.
Lillian
Lovely, getting a little popular, but still very charming. I like it a lot.
Miranda
I really, really love this and the nickname Mira. I think it works marvellously with Galloway. Like:
Elise
Nice, but a bit bland. I would love Elisabeth as a full name for it.
Christine
A bit dated, but would sound nice in the middle.
Aurora
I find Aurora a bit boring and overly princess-y. It's still quite nice though.
Olivia
Too popular for me personally, I prefer the less popular Olive.
Felicity
I prefer the male form – Felix – but I can appreciate Felicity's beauty. But since it doesn't flow well with Galloway I've put it here. I would like it in the middle, perhaps?
Azalea
A bit out there, but I do like it. Dislike:
Kiera
I prefer Keira. Too popular though.
Aria
It feels insubstantial to me.
Vanessa
Dated in a bad way to me. :-\
Piper
Unfeminine...
Fiona
I have an irrational dislike for Fiona from my mother.
Rowena
I don't like the sound of this – but I really like Rowan.

Thanks for the critiques! My favorites among the ones we already have are Alexandra, Miriam, Cordelia and Octavia. I have to say I'm leaning most towards Cordelia (actually a name I have on my PNL). But let's hold off on deciding at this moment. As far as the additional names you suggested, I like the names Olive and Rowan (though I prefer Rowan for a boy). I find the name Elisabeth to be quite boring, actually. Maybe it's just because I hear it all the time. Here's my own breakdown of your list:LOVE:
Camilla - Beautiful name. And it travels very nicely as well. I also like the name Camille
Cecilia - Adorable. It sounds so warm and friendly.
Emilia - Yay for another Shakespearean name! This is one of my favorites
Ginevra - Beautiful, and so refreshingly different. The Harry Potter association doesn't hurt either :-)
Helena - I think it would work better in the middle, but it's such a soft and pretty name
Iona - That's the name of the college in my hometown. I also love the name Ione
Magdalena - Was actually going to suggest this but thought it flowed a little weird with Galloway. Would be terrific as a middle name.
Marietta - Lovely Italian name! Hope you don't mind if I show a little cultural pride :-D
Theresa - Love this one. I'm surprised that I don't hear it more often now. And I love the nickname Tess for this one.LIKE:
Alice - Great name, but I think it would work better as a middle name
Beatrix - It's nice, but I prefer Beatrice
Cliona - Never heard this one before, but it sounds pretty. Like the nickname Clio, too
Gwendolen / Gwendolyn - I'm not in love with this one, but I do this it's a terrific name. Very quirky and fun.
Philippa - This one's starting to grow on me a lot. I especially like the nickname Pippa, so adorable.
Rosalia - Love this one, but think it would be better as a middle name with Galloway
Silvia - This sounds dated to me, but it's still pretty

Ginevra works really well with Galloway. I also love Camilla, Miranda and Theresa. However, I really feel like I'm set on Cordelia for this round. I can't think of any other middle names right now, so my favorites among your list are Cordelia Felicity, Cordelia Verity and Cordelia Vivienne.

I dunno about ages. It can be hard to keep up with them. I'm really liking Miriam or Natalie as a first name. I think Ophelia is more my style than Odessa. Here are some name suggestions. Like any? Ophelia, Beatrix, Lenore, Nayeli, Soraya, Rosalie, Lara

Okay, we won't do ages, then. I like Ophelia (especially as a MM) and Rosalie. I like Beatrice better than Beatrix, but neither are really my style. I like Laura better than Laura. How do you pronounce the others?

Emmeline - Emily, Emilia, Emma
Clara - Clarisse, Claire, Clarissa Can you think of any others you might like that we could use?
