Writing Prompt: Much to the Royal Advisor's and the Kingdom's relief, the Queen became pregnant quickly and gave birth to a single child. The pregnancy wasn't as difficult as the twins, but Emeline was an emotional wreck throughout as the time passed and the inevitably labour came closer. Nearing the end of her pregnancy Emeline withdrew from everyone, including her brothers, Jacques, and her sons.

The definition of a Dowager is: a woman who holds some title or property from her deceased husband, especially the widow of a king, duke, etc. (often used as an additional title to differentiate her from the wife of the present king, duke, etc.): a queen dowager; an empress dowager.
Since I couldn't find a masculine form, I just decided to use Dowager to mean a man or woman who once ruled, but now doesn't.
Some people have decided that their Kingdom's have a mandatory "term limit" sort of deal, and can therefore have two Dowager/ex-Rulers. Other's have decided that the Throne only stays with the original heir, and the Dowager Ruler is the one who has married into the family. Some have decided to have the Dowager/ex-Ruler step down from ruling. Other's have just killed both parents off to make it easier :)
I'll try and keep track of everything so that it's easy for you when you decide to catch up :)

Not long after the twins' birth, Cecilia and Breccan began seeing each other once again -- and not always in secret. On a few occasions, Cecilia brought the young Princess Genevieve into town with her, for the young girl loved the bright colors of the market that was set up in the main square. She especially enjoyed visiting the blacksmith's shop, because the man who apprenticed there was always nice to her and usually gave her sweets. On his part, Breccan savored every moment he could spend with Cecilia and loved her daughter as his own -- and wished she were.
If Joseph Wilhelm knew about Breccan, he didn't show it. After the court physicians assured him that Augustine and Emmanuelle were healthy babies and would undoubtedly survive, he lost most interest in his wife and started to enjoy the company of other women. When the twins were only four months old, the queen found that she could keep down nothing she ate -- particularly in the mornings. She had felt this way before, but she needed to know for sure. She enlisted the help of a trusted court physician, who confirmed her worst fear: she was with child, about a month gone, by the looks of it. Cecilia was horrified, for she knew beyond doubt that the baby was not her husband's -- it was Breccan's. It would be impossible to keep the pregnancy a secret, but if Joseph Wilhelm discovered that another man had fathered the child, he would not hesitate to kill it and her.

Not long after the twins' birth, Cecilia and Breccan began seeing each other once again -- and not always in secret. On a few occasions, Cecilia brought the young Princess Genevieve into town with her, for the young girl loved the bright colors of the market that was set up in the main square. She especially enjoyed visiting the blacksmith's shop, because the man who apprenticed there was always nice to her and usually gave her sweets. On his part, Breccan savored every moment he could spend with Cecilia and loved her daughter as his own -- and wished she were.
If Joseph Wilhelm knew about Breccan, he didn't show it. After the court physicians assured him that Augustine and Emmanuelle were healthy babies and would undoubtedly survive, he lost most interest in his wife and started to enjoy the company of other women. After all, he was just out of his teenage years. There would be time enough to have more children, but for now he wanted to make the most of his youth.
When the twins were only four months old, the queen found that she could keep down nothing she ate -- particularly in the mornings. She had felt this way before, but she needed to know for sure. She enlisted the help of a trusted court physician, who confirmed her worst fear: she was with child, about a month gone, by the looks of it. Cecilia was horrified, for she knew beyond doubt that the baby was not her husband's -- it was Breccan's. It would be impossible to keep the pregnancy a secret, but if Joseph Wilhelm discovered that another man had fathered the child, he would not hesitate to kill it and her.

Much to the relief of almost the whole of the Kingdom, Queen Felipa announced that she was pregnant just as the twins were celebrating their 8th moon. A week before the celebration of Princess Pasqualina's and Princess Daciana's first year Pippa went into early labor. The matron-priestess of Mother-Cardea could do nothing to stop the labor, and it soon became apparent that they could do nothing to help move the labor along also. Night turned to day and day turned to night... Pippa labored for almost 4 days before finally giving birth to a single son.
While the child was born healthy, the same could not be said of Pippa. Because Pippa did not have sufficient time to recover from the previous pregnancy, her body went into early labor. However, because the labor was early, her body also did all it could to prevent it and protect the baby. Her body was literally battling itself as she labored those four days and nights. It turned out to be too much for the Queen, and she slipped into a coma just as her son arrived into the world.

So long as Round 3 is up-to-date and accurate (including info from any missed rounds), you can chose whether or not you want to post to Round 2. But please note that there are age changes to both Round 2 and then again to Round 3 (this always messes me up when I'm doing it!).
I don't know how I missed yours, but I have updated Round 3 to have your correct information. Please feel free to correct any mistakes I have made or might make in the future :)
