This is Round One of the Island Survivors congrats game! If you want to join, new sign-ups are always welcome (you can make it so your characters have been on the beach all along or that they were elsewhere on the island and found their way to/are discovered by the other survivors). Remember, you can respond to another player's post and pair up with them or you can be assigned another "character" to pair up with if you want. Feel free to post more pictures and write with as much detail as you want. I've really enjoyed everyone's stories! :)
Side Note: From now on put your survivor(s) name in the subject line in your post. That way it will be easier for me (and everyone else) to know who is who. Thanks!

It's been two weeks since the plane crash and landing on the island. Everyone has long since grown tired of having nothing but coconuts to eat and drink from. At first they held onto the hope that help was on its way and they would be rescued, but as the days pass it becomes clear that help could be a long way off. The hunger and heat puts everyone on edge and arguing starts. People begin to claim parts of the beach, fight over coconuts, and chaos seems to be taking over.
One morning, when a fight breaks out between several of the survivors over who has claim to which part of the beach, someone steps up and gets everyone's attention. "Listen!" he shouts over the bickering. The man is 41 year old Joel Abraham, a U.S. politician who was traveling to Australia on business when the plane went down. He is wearing a dark business suit that has faded in the hot sun and is torn in several places. His "no nonsense" manner causes everyone to stop fighting and pay attention to what he has to say. "We can't keep fighting like this," he continues. "Help doesn't seem to be coming and we will most likely be here a while. It's about time we set some ground rules and pull together to build better shelters and find enough food to feed everyone." No one argues against that. Since they landed on the island several large storms, like the one that caused the plane to crash, have hit and threatened the makeshift shelters they managed to put together using pieces of the plane and whatever could be found on the beach. "What do you mean set ground rules?" one of the survivors asks him cautiously. "Rules. Laws, if you will. We need to have some sort of agreement in place to control this chaos and bring order to this island." He looks around at the other people sitting in the sand. "You there," he says, pointing out Rachel Isaacs. "You were studying to be a doctor right? I've seen you helping some of the injured passangers. If we're going to survive will need someone who can be in charge of medical care. Didn't that flight attendant say she was pregnant? What if we're still here when she goes into labor? We'll need someone to take care of her. Are you willing to take on the roll of full-time island doctor?" he asks her. He scans the crowd. "And you....you were a co-pilot on our plane, right?" He walks up to Ben McCarthy. "You must know something about flight routes and calculating locations, don't you? I suggest we put you in charge of figuring out where the hell we are and how the hell we're going to make our presence known to any planes or ships that might pass by." He takes a few steps back and addresses everyone. "I've seen several of you start fires and heard you talking about being scouts when you were younger. I purpose we put this man and that woman in charge of leading an expedition group to find a better place to build shelter and search for food," he's talking about the 28 year old Vietnamese soldier, Quan Phan, and Maya Amit, who served in Israel's military. "Do you think you can do that?" he asks her. "Anyone who thinks they can help can join her. Everyone else should stay on the beach and see after the young children and the wounded." He takes one more look around at everyone and announces one last thing. "We will hold a meeting tonight right after sunset to discuss new laws for the island."
Satisfied with the results of his speech, Joel goes off to talk further with the co-pilot, Ben, about the island's location. The survivors are a little stunned by the sudden commands he is giving, but since it is obvious that something needs to be done, they disperse and begin to follow his orders. However, there is a new feeling that he has put himself in charge. Some are happy to have something to do and someone to follow, but not everyone is comfortable with their new leader.

How does your survivor(s) feel about Joel taking command of the island? What rules/laws do you suggest at the meeting? Do you follow him willingly or do you feel you would be better suited to lead the other passengers?
UN: lalalove-Bianca Hayden (23)
-Benjamin McCarthy (25)
--Bianca is put in charge of babysitting the orphans and other passenger's children while they hunt for food and a place to build shelter. Ben is working closely with Joel to figure out where they are and how they can get the attention of any planes and ships that may pass by. How is the pregnancy going and how does Ben feel about working with Joel?
UN: Edith Therese-Faustina Agnelli (28)
-Lara Agnelli (10)
-Benny Agnelli (8)
-Francesco Agnelli (35)
--Faustina has been asked to babysit the children with Bianca Hayden while Francesco and the others who have survival skills go on the food/shelter mission. Benny may also go on the mission if you are comfortable with it. How are you and your children handling being on the island? There have been many injured and scared passengers who are in need of religious comfort. Many people have also died since landing on the island. How does Francesco feel about so many asking for his blessings, last rights, and comfort? And how do your survivors feel about Joel taking charge?
UN: Keepskuh-Anne MacAndrew (23)
--You have been asked to join the food/shelter mission because of your experience in girl scouts. How do you contribute to the search? And how do you feel about the new island leader, Joel?
UN: Aderyn Azula-Rachel Isaacs (26)
--Now that the word is out about you being a medical student, other passengers swarm around you begging for help for everything from broken bones, serious infections, and sunburns. How do you feel about the sudden responsibility of becoming island's full-time doctor, with only some of your schooling complete and little in the way of medical supplies available? And what do you think of Joel delegating jobs and taking charge?
UN: La Reina-Justin Hart (16)
-David Hart (14)
-Oliver Winston (26)
--The mission team are in need of strong people to help build shelter and carry food back to the beach. There are also many sick and injured people who need someone to give them water and food. Are Justin, David, or Oliver willing to follow Joel's command and lend a hand? And how do they feel about the new leader?
UN: Gabriella Grace-Maya Amit (26)
-Tali Amit (2)
--Joel has put you in charge of the food/shelter mission team, along with Quan Phan. He is a 28 year old Vietnamese soldier who was on leave and taking what was supposed to be a fun trip around the world to visit family in L.A. and Sydney with his 4 year old son, Bao Phan. Quan speaks English well and, despite seeming quiet and serious, he is very friendly. Leading the mission is a big responsibility for both of you. There are a lot of hungry people who need fresh water, a safe place to live that will protect them from the island storms and wildlife, and something to eat other than coconuts. How do you feel about being put in charge? What do Maya and Tali think of now spending so much time with Quan and Bao? And what do you think of Joel taking charge of the island?
UN: Wandering Moon-Layla McLeod (23)
-Freddie McLeod (3)
--What do you decide to do: stay and help the injured and care for the children or join the mission to find food and build shelter? And how do you feel about Joel giving orders and nominating himself as leader?
UN: luvmonkeezz-Heidi Craft (16)
-Toni Spearman (7)
--You have been asked to help Rachel Isaacs care for the injured and the sick. How do you handle this new responsibility? Do you leave Toni with the babysitting group or do you take her with you? There are other teenagers on the island as well, 16 year old Justin Hart and his brother 14 year old David Hart. Do you feel you are able to relate with them about the whole situation since you are close in age? And how do you feel about the island's self-appointed leader, Joel?
