1. Adopt a stray
We adopt a stray yellow lab and name her Daisy.
2. Family Vacation
We take a vacation to Hawaii.
3. Travel
Nick needs to make a trip to France so we spend a few extra days in Paris.
4. Celebration
We are celebrating the recent birth and baptism of our niece Addison Rose. We are thrilled to be her godparents!
5. Life Long Dream
Nick has a book on the best seller list!
6. Family Event: Move
We move to Germany.
7. Pet
We get a cat. She is black with white markings.
8. I’m still teaching but I’m going to night school.
9. Family Vacation
We take a trip to New Zealand.
10. Adoption
After 10 years with no luck conceiving Nick and I have decided to adopt. We travel to Haiti and adopt a 7 year old boy. We are calling him Henry James. His birthday is August 15th. The same as his uncle’s.
11. Adoption
We like adoption so much that we decided to adopt again and give Henry a sibling. This time we adopted from France. We adopted a two year old girl named Emma Camille. Her birthday is January 24th.
12. Even though we love our children Henry and Emma we still kept trying and finally this year we got pregnant with our first biological child. We were thrilled to learn we were expecting a little girl. When our daughter was born at 4:32 am November 7 she had straight black hair and lots of it! Her eyes are looking to be green. Henry and Emma love their new baby sister. Her name is Genevieve Marie “Eve”.
13. 3 years after our dog Daisy died we found another dog wandering alone. We had to rescue him too. He is a Husky that Henry has named Buzz after Buzz Lightning.
14. We took a trip back to France to visit the orphanage that we adopted Emma from. They were so pleased to see that she has a great family, a brother and sister, and a cat and dog.
15. I went back to school before for a few years and I quit school and work to be a stay-at-home mom when we adopted Henry but now that the kids are 12, 6, and 3 and are all going to be in school (Eve in the mornings) I am taking classes again and training up to get another job.
16. We take the kids to Disney in California, U.S.
17. Adoption
We travel to visit an orphanage in Sudan, Africa as a mission trip. While there we met a set of 2 year old triplets. Not many people were looking to adopt triplets so they would have to either be split up or stay in the orphanage. It broke our hearts so we decided to adopt all three of them. There are two boys and a girl. We gave them first names but kept their African names as middle names. The oldest is Jacob Mosi (Mosi means first child), the middle one is Adam Zuberi, and the girl is Alexandra Nia. Jake, Adam, and Alex are adjusting quite well. Their birthday is October 7th. While we were in the process of adopting 2 year old triplets we found out we were pregnant. By the time we got back home with the triplets we only had 6 months before another new baby would join us.
18. Birth
We found out we were expecting identical twin boys. We realize this is going to be a handful but we love it so much. Our twins were born at 6:13 pm and 6:28 pm on February 27th. They have blond hair and brown eyes. We named them Samuel Dean and Benjamin Michael. Sam and Ben have been a great addition to our family.
19. Move
We move to a bigger house where we are not so cramped.
20. We decide that our family may be large but it is not quite complete. We travel to Ireland where we adopt a 13 year old boy. He has curly strawberry-blond hair and blue eyes. His name is Joshua Connor. His birthday is April 2nd. Our family is now complete.

We’ve gotten the girls an unusual little pet, a goat. They named him Hammy.
3. Celebration
For the twins 12th birthday this year we went to Disneyland! It was a long trip but it was worth it.
4. Family Event
The girls were messing around and climbing trees when Laine fell down and broke her arm. She was really scared and there was a lot of tears but she is okay now.
5. The girls have always talked about their older brother who was put in a different orphanage and they had never seen him again. It took 5 years but we found out what happened to him. Even though he is already 17 we decided to adopt him anyway and make them a family again. He looks so much like the girls. His name is Samuel Liam.
6. We found out that John’s father has cancer.
7. Sam is really into racing horses so we bought a horse. It is mostly brown with a few white markings around its face. His name is Somerset.
8. This year something really exciting happened! We got pregnant – with twins! We got our first and second biological children and our second set of identical twin girls. They have wavy blonde hair and brown eyes. We have named them Charlotte Grace and Margaret Anne.
