Two years later, some drastic changes have visited both sides of the former Morales-Donning family. On one side, Callie has decided that while she could barely stand her ex-husband any more, she enjoyed motherhood immensely. She enjoyed it so much, in fact, that she took artificial insemination, a move many a tabloid found as "sensational" and "looking for attention". Still, Callie got pregnant with a pair of girl/boy twins, much to her delight. That makes a grand total of five children - Gypsy, Axel, Zion, and the newborn twins.

In the meanwhile, the change in Jorge's life had been even more shocking. A motorcycle accident crushed his leg and rendered him unable to walk, much less to ever play football again. The incident shattered Jorge's spirit, and he fell into a depression. But it was during those hard times that his reporter friend, Ernie, stood beside him. Ernie remained a constant companion, helping Jorge throughout his recuperation. As soon as he could finally stand on both feet for just enough time, the two of them got married in a small, private ceremony. Their lives has changed considerably - no more football for Jorge, and barely any journalism left for Ernie - but they were happy, and that was all they cared for.

Three years later, Charles and Alice thought they were done having children. With Remus, Perseus, Riordan, and Ingrid, the couple thought that they have had enough. They were wrong. One night, they had a little "oops" and Alice ended up expecting again. But as much as this pregnancy was unexpected, the couple welcomed it as much as ever (though they were very determined this time to not have any more children!).

Two years has passed, and the North family was still as ever. Topher still pursues his solo career as an artist, and Lily still watches over Delia, James, and Maisie. Nothing much had happened - life was still simple and cheerful. An addition to the cheerfulness happened when the children began asking for a dog (well, actually it was James who wanted a dog, but he convinced his sisters to join his cause). After a good lot of talking, Topher and Lily decided there would be no harm to have a friendly dog as a pet, and thus the couple adopted a Golden Retriever puppy.

It was fairly obvious to Lucas that he won't be able to keep up his lovers without any of them knowing the others exist. At last, the day came. During a shooting session of a romantic thriller with Jana-Mary (whom he had change from a beauty queen to a beauty queen from a movie scene), Isabelle walked straight to the two of them and slapped her husband. At first, Lucas was enraged, especially as he and Jana-Mary were "acting romantic" on-camera, but Isabelle broke down and blubbered that she knew they were more than acting. When Isabelle said that she had seen them together, Lucas admitted defeat and agreed to her divorce pleas.

The divorce was not pleasant for their children - Sage, Lee, True, Orion, and Trixie were rather surprised that their daddy was leaving to marry someone else. But Lucas did exactly that - just after the divorce was finalised, he proposed to Jana-Mary, who accepted. They agreed for it to be an open marriage, a fact Lucas was overjoyed about. True to his nature, during Jana-Mary's first pregnancy, he had found another woman willing to swoon at his presence.
