King Walter was completely devestated at the death of his mother Dowager Queen Elizabeth. The news was not shocking but completely inhabilitating. Walter depended on his mother for advice, she was his grounding feature. He arranged the most spectacular funeral so that all of Bial could remember the wonderful Queen they had lost.
Shortly after Queen Hedy gave birth to the small Princess Ella. Walter demanded that she be named Elizabeth after his mother. Queen Hedy is not faring well after the birth of Princess Ella, Hedy gaining in age is proving that take more and more time to recover. Walter has had to bring in extra governesses to take over where Hedwig normally presides. Prince Max and Prince Hanne dislike the new governess and are entirely enraged with Princess Ella for incapcitating their mother. August who does not spend much time with his mother has rarely noticed her abscence but disapproves of another sister.
Walter is pouring over August devoting much time to his heir. August is already proving to be an adequate prince. His studies prove promising and his gentlmenly ways are gaining too. August loves to be outside he is a wonder on a horse and he enjoys his pet Falcon who he take hunting with him. Max is a jealous son who does not receive enough time from his father. Max is extremely intelligant but falls into his devious sister Hanne's plans. The two cause great trouble in the palace.Princess Annelie is talked about all over the world. Her beauty as a two year old is celebrated. The little Princess is charming and quite yet always draws a crowd.
Walter continues to find love with his sister in-law Eleonore. He keeps her husband out and away although he has settled into a fair routine and does not cause much trouble any more. Walter continues to educate his son Fritzi who he greatly adores and spends more time with Fritzi then he does Hanne or Maxi.
