Adelheid

NOTE(s):
1. Actually, E. Tracy mentioned the name Elizabeth as the Queen Dowager at the end of her first post (may have been added when she edited). According to her, our parents were King Wolfgang Wilhelm Karl Friedrich Kaarmann and Queen Elizabeth Sophia Louise. Obviously, the Queen's names are fairly common and universal, but if everyone agrees, then an English mother seems like a good bet. Also, I referred to her as Queen Dowager because of your sign-up, britto08, because you said, "Though Walter was hesitant about marrying [Magdalena] to nobility rather than royalty, her mother talked him into it after seeing how much her daughter loved Taddeo." This statement implies that the siblings' mother is still alive, hence Queen Dowager.
2. I hope it was alright that I had Adelheid marry the Dauphin of France; I know you wanted to play with historical facts and events, so I hope I didn't throw a wrench in any plans of yours, britto08.
Anyways, back to Adelheid. I think you’ve pretty accurately summarized what I put in my sign-up post and I like what E. Tracy has added about Walter and Adelheid being most alike (and therefore distant). I also think Adelheid was always jealous of the relationship between Walter and Magdalena and tried to be closer to Joseph, but never managed to cultivate the doting relationship that their elder siblings had.
Please, also keep in mind that Adelheid is still a teenage girl and may grow out of these jealousies…or they may fester as she grows more and more unhappy in the French court. Who knows? ;)
