HelpNyx' Royal Congrats ▓▒░ Round 7 ░▒▓
OK – In order for me to be able to track a story across so many different setups, I will be referring to each child in numerical order (so Prince/ss1 would be your first child and Prince/ss2 would be your second child, etc. – I will be referring to all children as “he” unless everybody has a girl). I will also be providing two different storylines. If you have a Kingdom/Queendom, you will have one story line; and if you have an Empire, you will have a different story line (see below for descriptions of what the different social structures mean).
List of Social Systems:
Kingdom: Patriarchy, the father or eldest male is head of the household, has a system of government by males, titles are traced through the male line
Queendom: Matriarchy, the mother or eldest female is head of the household, has a system of government by females, titles are traced through the female line
Empire: Primogeniture, the eldest child of the sovereign succeeds to the throne, regardless of gender, and females enjoy the same right of succession/titles as males
Kingdom/Queendom: The King/Queen finally came of age, and the Dowager is no longer Regent. The Dowager is finally able to marry, a commoner or low born, that s/he couldn’t marry while acting as Regent to the Kingdom/Queendom. When the King/Queen came of age, they participated in a second marriage ceremony, and this time the Consort was given the official title of King/Queen/etc. The marriage was consummated, and a child is now born! Princess2 is happy with the birth of a Crown Prince/ss, as she intends to join a convent (or some other organization that would mean she has to give up the crown and will not marry/have children). Prince3 is very interested in joining the military, and is studying (and fighting) whenever and wherever he can. Adopted Daughter4 is only interested in becoming the biggest flirt in court. The Dowager is very worried about what mistakes an over-privileged and under-experienced 15 year-old girl can make. Other than this, the Kingdom/Queendom has enjoyed a relative peace and prosperity.
Empire: The Regent Dowager made sure to include the Emperor/Empress in all of the day-to-day runnings of the Empire, along with all of the important decisions that come up. Long before the Emperor/Empress was ruling in fact, the Regent Dowager had stepped back and was allowing him/her to make the decisions. By his/her coming-of-age ceremony, the Emperor/Empress was more then up for the task of ruling in truth. The Dowager, no longer regent, was happy to step down. S/he married a commoner/servant who s/he had fallen in love with during the last few years. Because of acting as Regent, s/he could not marry before then. Now that the Emperor/Empress is ruling in truth, they were allowed to consummate the marriage. With this done, the consort was given the official title of “Emperor/Empress/etc.” Shortly after, the new Empress is pregnant with an heir! The Empire is rejoicing, as is Princess2. She means to join a convent (or some other organization that would mean she has to give up the crown and will not marry/have children). Prince3 is enthralled with the navy and the idea of exploring different lands. For now, he is not allowed to join, but maybe in the next year or two. Adopted Princess4 is only interested in becoming the biggest flirt in court. The Dowager is very worried about what mistakes an over-privileged and under-experienced 15 year-old girl can make. Other than this, the Empire has enjoyed a relative peace and prosperity.
Rules: Please check that all information is correct (especially bold items). If any changes are needed, please remember to bold changes so that I will notice and change in my information.
Please make sure that the former Consort has his/her previous title (Title or Land), along with his new title (King/Queen/etc. Name). Please make sure that the Dowager is correctly titled, as is the new King/Queen/etc.
The Husband/Wife is to only have 1 FN (but it may be hyphenated if you like), 1 MN, and should also have a surname.
Crown Prince/ss01 is to have 1 FN and at least 2 MNs. The first MN (MN#1) is to honor the deceased King/Queen in some way.
All names this round must come from the namebank (variations and respellings are OK) or from any name previously used by you (variations and respellings are OK).

In the Queendom of Suleriun
Kingdom: Patriarchy, the father or eldest male is head of the household, has a system of government by males, titles are traced through the male line
Queendom: Matriarchy, the mother or eldest female is head of the household, has a system of government by females, titles are traced through the female line
Empire: Primogeniture, the eldest child of the sovereign succeeds to the throne, regardless of gender, and females enjoy the same right of succession/titles as males
Kingdom/Queendom: The King/Queen finally came of age, and the Dowager is no longer Regent. The Dowager is finally able to marry, a commoner or low born, that s/he couldn’t marry while acting as Regent to the Kingdom/Queendom. When the King/Queen came of age, they participated in a second marriage ceremony, and this time the Consort was given the official title of King/Queen/etc. The marriage was consummated, and a child is now born! Princess2 is happy with the birth of a Crown Prince/ss, as she intends to join a convent (or some other organization that would mean she has to give up the crown and will not marry/have children). Prince3 is very interested in joining the military, and is studying (and fighting) whenever and wherever he can. Adopted Daughter4 is only interested in becoming the biggest flirt in court. The Dowager is very worried about what mistakes an over-privileged and under-experienced 15 year-old girl can make. Other than this, the Kingdom/Queendom has enjoyed a relative peace and prosperity.
Empire: The Regent Dowager made sure to include the Emperor/Empress in all of the day-to-day runnings of the Empire, along with all of the important decisions that come up. Long before the Emperor/Empress was ruling in fact, the Regent Dowager had stepped back and was allowing him/her to make the decisions. By his/her coming-of-age ceremony, the Emperor/Empress was more then up for the task of ruling in truth. The Dowager, no longer regent, was happy to step down. S/he married a commoner/servant who s/he had fallen in love with during the last few years. Because of acting as Regent, s/he could not marry before then. Now that the Emperor/Empress is ruling in truth, they were allowed to consummate the marriage. With this done, the consort was given the official title of “Emperor/Empress/etc.” Shortly after, the new Empress is pregnant with an heir! The Empire is rejoicing, as is Princess2. She means to join a convent (or some other organization that would mean she has to give up the crown and will not marry/have children). Prince3 is enthralled with the navy and the idea of exploring different lands. For now, he is not allowed to join, but maybe in the next year or two. Adopted Princess4 is only interested in becoming the biggest flirt in court. The Dowager is very worried about what mistakes an over-privileged and under-experienced 15 year-old girl can make. Other than this, the Empire has enjoyed a relative peace and prosperity.

Crown Prince/ss01 is to have 1 FN and at least 2 MNs. The first MN (MN#1) is to honor the deceased King/Queen in some way.
All names this round must come from the namebank (variations and respellings are OK) or from any name previously used by you (variations and respellings are OK).

I would like to apologize for the slowness of my getting rounds out here lately. I've had some health issues going on.
I will get Round 8 out tonight with any luck, and Round 9 out tomorrow. However, I will be posting no new rounds after Friday until Tuesday, as I will be out of town for a wedding.
Also, how long would you like this to continue? Personally, I would like to "take care of" all the the generation 1 children...

Bram was slightly stunned when he was told the news. Not only had his King, Queen, and all five of their children passed away from the mysterious epidemic, but so had his mother, the King's younger sister. He was all of a sudden he was the one to inherit the throne of Melquior. The next thing he knew, he was being crowned and had advisors after him at all hours of the day and night. He was no where prepared for this. By the time he was born, the King and Queen already had 2 healthy children and there was no need to think that he might need to be trained to inherit the throne. His advisors badgered him about many different issues, and some he could see were plots to help out those nobles who suggested them.
However, there was one thing all of the advisors agreed upon, he needed to marry and provide heirs to give an image of stability to the Empire. After going over countless lists of eligible and connected females from within the Empire and without, and meeting many of them briefly, he chose his childhood sweetheart the Marchesa of Anburn.

Princess Tru has announced that she means to join a convent, she will be giving up the crown, and will not marry, or have children. The royal family is said to be very supportive of her decision, and Princess Tru is very happy.
Prince Conrad has recently taking interest in the navy, and the idea of exploring. He has said that he would like to join in the next year or two.
Meanwhile, Princess Anya is only interested in being a flirt. Her family is very concerned, and almost for certain knows she'll do something she will regret.
Other than that, the Empire is at peace.

When Queen Wilhelmina was the most lost and confused after the death of her beloved husband and her little girl she met Chauncey Valmierre, a scribe working for the royal court. She soon found that he was very easy to speak to, he understood her and even though he was a commoner she could not help that she started to have feelings for him. Marriage was the only option for Queen Wilhelmina and she is now experiencing a period of calm and happiness she never thought would come after all the troubled years. As a mother she is very proud of her son King Benedict and his wife Queen Malvina. He turned out to be a good king. He is wise and sympathetic but at the same time strong enough to do what needs to be done in the kingdom. Queen Malvina is, as Queen Wilhelmina knew right from the start, a good wife and mother though a bit too fond of expensive clothes and jewelery. The birth of little Crown Prince Julien was a joyful day, not only for the royal family but for the entire kingdom. Queen Wilhelmina is a very proud grandmother and mother. She first had a hard time accepting that Princess Theodosia wanted to leave the royal court life and her family, but deep down she knew that Princess Theodosia never had been happy with that kind of life. It is with sorrow she will say goodbye to her but she knows that her daughter will be happy and that is the most important thing.

When Queen Wilhelmina was the most lost and confused after the death of her beloved husband and her little girl she met Chauncey Valmierre, a scribe working for the royal court. She soon found that he was very easy to speak to, he understood her and even though he was a commoner she could not help that she started to have feelings for him. Marriage was the only option for Queen Wilhelmina and she is now experiencing a period of calm and happiness she never thought would come after all the troubled years. As a mother she is very proud of her son King Benedict and his wife Queen Malvina. He turned out to be a good king. He is wise and sympathetic but at the same time strong enough to do what needs to be done in the kingdom. Queen Malvina is, as Queen Wilhelmina knew right from the start, a good wife and mother though a bit too fond of expensive clothes and jewelery. The birth of little Crown Prince Julien was a joyful day, not only for the royal family but for the entire kingdom. Queen Wilhelmina is a very proud grandmother and mother. She first had a hard time accepting that Princess Theodosia wanted to leave the royal court life and her family, but deep down she knew that Princess Theodosia never had been happy with that kind of life. It is with sorrow she will say goodbye to her but she knows that her daughter will be happy and that is the most important thing.

When Adela came of age and was made Empress of Yarrow, her responsibilities as ruler would be more important than that of mother and wife. She would give all responsibilities to Ewald but knew that this would not only disappoint her mother but her father as well if he were still alive to witness her cowardice. Her ceremony was the traditional long and elaborate affair that lasted two weeks with celebration through the land. “Hail the young Empress! Hail to Adela the Small!” the people would shout these praises to the new family for they ate and drank well during this time of peace. Shortly after her coronation, Adela gave birth to a son and named him after her father.

Five years after Asenath's death, the Destined High Priestess Zubia has been presented to the goddess Sul'i's presence and is Thaeris' new High Priestess. While her late mother had begun her reign at eighteen, Zubia felt it was not such for her. Her future Consort Michael has been very supportive of her, and as soon as she was named High Priestess the two were married in an elaborate ceremony involving dancers and visitors from the surrounding tribes and the Strangers they were friendly with. The Dowager Consort Valen has ceased to be Zubia's regent, and now that he has been officially retired from that position, took the liberty of marrying again. While acting as Regent and recovering from his loss of his wife, Valen has found consolation in his friend Ezio's younger sister, Cecilia. However, Valen felt it inappropriate to consummate their growing love in a marriage until his daughter is officially the High Priestess, and once Zubia has taken the position and married her consort Michael, Valen and Cecilia were quietly wedded in Thaeris.

Crown Prince James came of age at nineteen, at which point he adopted the name King William II. As per Caladanean custom, it was only then that his wife, Duchess Isabella of Allar, was allowed to come live in the royal castle (this was based on the antiquated belief that the young royal couple might consummate their marriage before it was appropriate to do so). The new king and queen then participated in a second marriage ceremony, meant to symbolize the dawn of William II's reign. Having grown quite fond of each other over the years, corresponding and visiting with each other often, they wasted no time in consummating their marriage, and Isabella was soon with child. She gave birth to healthy son nine months later, and the kingdom rejoiced. The boy was christened William Giancarlo, after his father and grandfather. He will go by Prince Joseph until he becomes king.
Princess Eleanore was glad that Isabella seemed to have no trouble conceiving and bearing children. For some time, she had been considering joining a convent, which would have meant that she could never marry. Now that an heir to the throne is secured, this is looking more and more like a definite possibility.

Since our new Emperor has taken over, there is a new princess and the former empress has married a three-star general in the Naralian Army. The name of the army was changed by imperial decree six months ago. The adopted princess Amalya has appeared in tabloids as the "Imperial Harlot", stirring up contraversy whenever people are not looking. Prince Joachim is considering service in the Navy.

Our New Emperor

The long awaited official Emperor has finally taken his post. The crowned Princess Gabrielle is no longer a possible replacement and she has taken a position as ambassdor for our empire to other countries and has declared herself as married to the ambassadorship. Since our new Emperor has taken over, there is a new princess and the former empress has married a three-star general in the Naralian Army. The name of the army was changed by imperial decree six months ago. The adopted princess Amalya has appeared in tabloids as the "Imperial Harlot", stirring up contraversy whenever people are not looking. Prince Joachim is considering service in the Navy.

Sarah had finally begun running the kingdom when she was 18 and she started doing it all by herself at 19. When she was 20, she gave birth to her first daughter, Shir. By that time she had also decided to take on the name of Sofia, in her royal title. Shir Amit roughly means song of friend(ship). Amit was the name of Avi's father. Avital is not only a version of Avi and Tal (Avi's father's last name), but it is also means "my father is the night dew" in reference to the fact that Avi's father would often leave early in the morning to start his treks so he was "gone with the night's dew".
David married once more, a woman he had been in love for quite some time now. He had met Leah when she was hired as a servant for his daughters, Yardena and Tali. It was love at first sight, but they had to keep it to themselves, because until Sarah was ruling, he was not allowed to remarry. Even after his daughter became the official malka, they waited a little bit, as to not anger her, who still missed her mom. bat Miriam is her last name
This is good news because Maya has decided that she would like to give up her title, in order to run an orphanage for children whose parents were killed in the war or by terrorist attacks.

Yeah I realized that....
I didn't even notice that we had a Princess2 that round! I'll keep it as it is since I'm so far in already, and adding another princess would mess up the story. So I just sorta combined the princess I should have had with Lucian, what with his being glad he doesn't have to worry about ruling and wanting to join the navy. Sorry about that!

Young Morgan is now the King of Legato. He is only 20 years old, but he is doing a great job. He also had a second marriage ceremony with his beloved wife, Queen Anya. The young Royal Couple just welcomed a Crown Prince, Lucian. He is doing great and the Kingdom are happy that things are slowely going back to normal.
The old Queen has gotten married again. She fell in love with a commoner, a man from Germany, Johan Fenstermacher. Life has been pretty calm and peacefully for the Kingdom and the royal court for the last year or two. The Honourable Adelaide however is flirting with everyone which makes Jane worried but hopefully things will calm down, even for Adelaide.
