In the Kingdom of Legato
After the accident who killed King Morgan's father and brother he was left with his mother, Queen Victoria, his older sister Susannah and his younger sister Marguerite. Queen Victoria passed away a year and a half later, and Susannah got married and moved to another country. King Morgan had a good relationship with his younger sister, Princess Marguerite.
Princess Marguerite's husband, Prince Heinrich, was killed in battle, leaving Princess Marguerite alone with their three year old and a baby, due three months later. The King and Queen couldn't leave her alone so they let her move in with them. She and Queen Jane had a lot to talk about since they both had 3 year old and were both expecting a baby!
Princess Marguerite suffered from grief, which led to her going into labor too early. She has a rough time, but the doctors were hopeful that she would make it through. She did make it through and she got to kiss and hold her newborn baby girl for a while and tell her and three year old Adelaide how much she loved them. But eventually she gets more and more weak, and she passes away in sleep when baby Polly is three weeks old.
King Morgan is griefing and his wife, Queen Jane, is in shock. Later that morning, she goes into labor. A perfectly healthy boy is born, Prince Alexander. The Royal Couple didn't wanted to turn Adelaide and Polly (as she is called within the family) away, and therefore agreed to adopt them as their own. They both love them, but King Morgan are having some troubles bonding with Adelaide because she lookes just like her mother, whom the King misses a lot.
The Kingdom are asking themself how much frief they can handle, and what will the next thing be? However they are very happ that the Royal Couple adopted thw two girls. In fact, if would be chaos if they didn't adopt them. After all, they are family.
The birth of Prince Alexander is somewhat in the shadows because of the loss of Princess Marguerite, but everyone is happy that the little Prince are healthy.
