HelpNyx' Royal Congrats ▓▒░ Round 2 ░▒▓
OK – In order for me to be able to track a story across so many different setups, I will be referring to each child in numerical order (so Prince/ss1 would be your first child and Prince/ss2 would be your second child, etc. – I will be referring to all children as “he” unless everybody has a girl). I will also be providing two different storylines. If you have a Kingdom/Queendom, you will have one story line; and if you have an Empire, you will have a different story line (see below for descriptions of what the different social structures mean).
List of Social Systems:
Kingdom: Patriarchy, the father or eldest male is head of the household, has a system of government by males, titles are traced through the male line
Queendom: Matriarchy, the mother or eldest female is head of the household, has a system of government by females, titles are traced through the female line
Empire: Primogeniture, the eldest child of the sovereign succeeds to the throne, regardless of gender, and females enjoy the same right of succession/titles as males
Kingdom/Queendom: Much to everybody’s delight, the Queen became pregnant almost immediately after the wedding. Shortly after the first anniversary of the Royal couple, a crowned Prince/ss was born! Everybody is thrilled; a feeling of stability is starting to develop again. How have the King and Queen adjusted to their new role as Royals and as parents? Does the Kingdom/Queendom approve of their new Royal family?
Empire: The Empress became sick just a month after the wedding, and everybody was worried that there would be another Royal death. However, after a few weeks of great weakness and bed rest, the Empress was up and around again. Then, two months later, she was throwing up her every meal. At first, the doctors were worried that, whatever her original sickness was, it was coming back. They quickly found out that she wasn’t sick, she was pregnant. The pregnancy was hard on the Empress. While she delivered a healthy heir, she was confined to bed during the last of her pregnancy and after her delivery. How did the Emperor react to the Empress’ sickness? How does the Empire react to the Empress’ sickness? How does the Empire react to the birth of a healthy heir?
Rules: Please check that all information is correct. If any changes are needed, please remember to bold changes so that I will notice and change in my information. Please make sure that the royal address (ie, King Adam or Empress Anne the IV) is attached to each King/Queen. Also, please provide 5-10 male and 5-10 female names that are NOT in the namebank that you would like to see added. I will be using this name bank often throughout the game.
Prince/ss1: He must have at least 2 MNs. You must choose at least 2 names from the name bank. You can use variations in origins (such as Guillermo instead of William), or respellings (such as Elisabeth instead of Elizabeth). Also, if you find a nickname in the name banks, you can chose to use this with a FN that is not in the namebanks (such as Euphemia “Effie” – The FN doesn’t necessarily have to be the original name that goes with the nickname though).

He had ordered every herbalist and medic within the castle walls to attend Faustina during and after her pregnancy. He could not afford war, not now with their marriage so new. After her long and difficult pregnancy, Faustina delivered a daughter to Hugo and daughter-heir to the Empire. The nation was abuzz with the new baby yet concerned by the gender. “A girl? Are you sure? This is so strange. The Emperors past have always had wives that bred sons first to be heirs of the nation. What will be done?” Hugo had heard these doubts and made tried to set the people at ease. “The House of Cerise has produced a future Empress to the nation and fears or worries need not to be concerned with about the strength of our nation. She will rule wisely and just as her forefathers have done,” Emperor Hugo had tried to assure them all. The High Priestess Asenath is pregnant. The news has barely broken through to the rest of the tribe when further news got through: the child is to be a girl! All of Thaeris was gladdened with this revelation. It was said that Asenath had entered into the temple of Sul'i with an eagle feather dipped in blood in her hands, and returned with the announcement of the arriving Sul'i'ah (the title given for the High Priestesses' daugters, meaning Sul'i's daughter)
Nine months after the news, Asenath brough forth a healthy baby daughter. The girl was, according to those who have had the honour to behold her, surprisingly good-looking for a baby, with large dark eyes and a lovely round face. The girl's name was announced to be Zubia, named after one of the High Priestess' late sisters.
As the child began to grow, day by day the ruling couple began to experience family life. The relationship between Asenath and Valen slowly began to thaw from the "strictly business" approach they had taken earlier. The High Priestess Asenath is pregnant. The news has barely broken through to the rest of the tribe when further news got through: the child is to be a girl! All of Thaeris was gladdened with this revelation. It was said that Asenath had entered into the temple of Sul'i with an eagle feather dipped in blood in her hands, and returned with the announcement of the arriving Sul'i'ah (the title given for the High Priestesses' daugters, meaning Sul'i's daughter)
Nine months after the news, Asenath brough forth a healthy baby daughter. The girl was, according to those who have had the honour to behold her, surprisingly good-looking for a baby, with large dark eyes and a lovely round face. The girl's name was announced to be Zubia, named after one of the High Priestess' late sisters.
As the child began to grow, day by day the ruling couple began to experience family life. The relationship between Asenath and Valen slowly began to thaw from the "strictly business" approach they had taken earlier. Asenath being busied with the matters of Thaeris, Valen found himself again and again having to scramble all about to care for Zubia, and even young Asenath had to laugh when seeing her husband doing everything the wrong way.

I'll definitely post stories. (the Story Congrats games help me write storylines that are in my head that I never get down otherwise) I added the story from Round 1's prompt here too.
Note 2: I changed my mind about the nicknames of the King and Queen's nicknames, as well as updated their royal addresses (bolded below). And if I messed up with any of the naming rules, tell me. I assumed the variations in origin rule applied to both FNs and MNs, and that since I used at least two names from the namebank (Beata and Isobel), other names (Elain) were okay. If not, I’ll change it. I will add my 5 names of each gender after I wake up, as I got a bit carried away with writing this story and should probably go to sleep (it's 4 AM as I'm writing this).

William was reassured, but still not completely won over. This all changed early one autumn morning, when his son -- the crown prince of Caladan -- was born. Suddenly all of his worries and anxieties were forgotten, replaced by an overwhelming love and awe at this new life he and Elisabeth had created. The healthy baby boy was christened William Friedrich, after his father and grandfather. As per Caladanean custom, however, he will not go by either name until he is king; until then, he will be called James.

Everyone thought he would get the old Kings firstname, Leopold, at least as a middle name. King Magnus and Queen Jane however felt that it was time for a change. This was a new time and they dreamt of a future. They didn't want to look back, and therefore choosed totally different names for their little prince. No honoring names what so ever, which a few people are disturbed about.

Heinrich's half brothers Prinz Wilhelm & Prinz Viktor were doing a fantastic job in advising the young Kaiser in affairs of State & Court, Heinrich felt slightly stifled by the formality of proceedings.
The day after the 1st anniversary of their being installed as Kasier & Kaiserin, Heinrich & Irene became parents. Irene gave birth to a healthy baby boy... Johan Ferdinand Rupert Sebastian Magnus.
He was named Johan after his half-uncle the previous Kaiser, Ferdinand for the traditional patron saint of all males in the von Salzwald family, Rupert after Irene's father HRH Prince Robert, Duke of Dorest, Sebastian after Kemberg patron Saint and Magnus for the hope he would become a great man, another von Salzward tradition.
The populace of Kemberg were in love with the young royal couple. Irene had a natural charm and beauty and was making great efforts to learn the native language by having only females from the Kemberg nobility as her Ladies-in-Waiting, which was highly unusual as most choose natives of their homeland.

As the general of the Halladey free-state signed the treaty with the Emperor, the newest member of the imperial family was born.

Bram was slightly stunned when he was told the news. Not only had his King, Queen, and all five of their children passed away from the mysterious epidemic, but so had his mother, the King's younger sister. He was all of a sudden he was the one to inherit the throne of Melquior. The next thing he knew, he was being crowned and had advisors after him at all hours of the day and night. He was no where prepared for this. By the time he was born, the King and Queen already had 2 healthy children and there was no need to think that he might need to be trained to inherit the throne. His advisors badgered him about many different issues, and some he could see were plots to help out those nobles who suggested them.
However, there was one thing all of the advisors agreed upon, he needed to marry and provide heirs to give an image of stability to the Empire. After going over countless lists of eligible and connected females from within the Empire and without, and meeting many of them briefly, he chose his childhood sweetheart the Marchesa of Anburn. This proved to be very wise of him, as Zahara had a mind that was born to see through the political twists and turns of the court and Empire. And, as the two were rapidly falling in true love, Zahara found herself helping Bram more and more. With the rapid series of changes in the Empire recently, no one can tell what is around the corner. However, Bram and Zahara now seem ready to tackle the challenges ahead.

Just 4 weeks after Bram and Zahara were married, Amirah Zahara became mysteriously ill. At first, the royal priests worried that it might be related to the epidemic that was still running rampant in the outskirts of the Empire. However, her illness never progressed beyond the fatigue.

After a week of national celebrating, including a national holiday for all farmers and workers, the mood suddenly became very solemn. Everyone had been expecting a great dynasty and a fresh start with the new Emporer, who seemed so much more fresh and exciting compared to the last few rulers and their expected new king. Their hearts and minds had been won by their beatiful young Empress, who wore stunning dresses and even spoke their language, wishing them well from her balcony. She suddenly disappeared and in court Frederick appeared gaunt and restless. In his apparent despair he passed some unpopular laws over the coming weeks, rumoured to be triggered from his bride's illness.
As the weeks past, the Emporer lashed out and then stopped from appearing in court all together, leaving his counsellor to take control for a while. He announced to his people his blessed bride appeared to be dying. He told his counsellors it was paramount to find a new and healthier bride, for if he could produce no heir then his brother, a man very much orientated towards pesonal gain and war alone, would take the throne at the first opportunity. Frederick secretly began plans to find a new bride, but reluctantly so. He was always taught love had nothing to do with being an Emporer, but he had grown fond of Margaret and tended to her when he could.
Frederick was euphoric when he discovered that Margaret was pregnant and not as painfully ill as previously thought. He announced this immediately to the people who rejoiced, for they too knew the dangers of their new Kings brother. They hoped for a strong baby with the charm and wit of both parents.
Margaret found her pregnancy hard, and missed home. She requested her husband to let her sisters visit and sit with her for the final months of her pregnancy, and he let her do so, as she could not leave her chambers.

After Avi became sick, David was very concerned. The melech stayed by his wife's side the whole time and hired the best doctors in the empire to treat her. Once Avi's health issues seemed in the past, everyone was relieved. The empire had been on there toes until the news broke that she was okay. Avi and David toured the country so everyone could see that she was out of the woods. A couple months later, the advisors worried that there would be a panic in the empire, so they tried as hard as they could to keep her sickness under wraps. They also brought in the best doctors, not only from the empire, but also from the nearby kingdoms whom they were friendly with. All the doctors were baffled until a young shepard from northern Irsale, who happened to be a friend of David came to visit and stated the obvious. When the news was released everyone was thrilled. After a hard pregnancy, with David by her side, Avi birthed a beautiful baby, a nesicha, Sarah Rachel Sofia. The empire was thrilled that the new nesicha was a girl and all who saw her were stunned by her beauty.
