Please welcome 3 month old Ileana Tereza into your family! She was born in Romania and given up for adoption immediately. She is very healthy and happy. We chose to place her with your family because of your occasional trips to Romania and thought that maybe she would feel more connected to her heritage someday.

Fifteen year old Amar Indra and his three year old sister Sarika Devi are from India.
Soon after Sarika was born their parents disappeared, and they haven't heard from them since. Amar has done his best taking care of his baby sister, and oftentimes it's been really rough. He stopped going to school for a while so that he could work and care for his sister. He was barely making ends meet when last year a man from our agency happened across the two. It was really hard convincing Amar to come with us, but finally he did. He has gone back to school and has, amazingly, not only caught up the two years that he missed, but has surpassed his peers. His stress has greatly been reduced as he no longer has to worry about where their next meal will come from or where the two would sleep. They are both really healthy and happy now, and all they need is a loving home.
We've had a hard time placing the siblings because Amar is older than most children, because our agency refuses to separate the siblings, and because Amar is gay. He has a rough time opening up about it, and he needs to be accepted into a family that will love him and accept him for who he is. Amar likes sports, hanging out with friends, and learning about things such as history, mythology, astronomy, and geography.
Little Sarika is a very content girl. She adores her brother very much, and she likes spending time around him. We feared, upon taking them into our agency, that since Sarika had not formed relationships with others in her early years that she would not play well with other children or even be receptive of other people. She proved us all wrong. She loves to play with children her age, and she adores attention from adults.
Please keep the agency updated on Amar and Sarika!

We enrolled Sarika in preschool and she has made lots of friends. All the teachers love her and she is quickly learning Portuguese. For the first few months after she got here, Sarika was very shy and afraid, but she now trusts Ravi and I to take care of her.
Amar had a hard time settling in to high school, so we home schooled him until he spoke Portuguese. When he returned to school, Amar made friends and opened up about being gay. Since then, he has excelled in academics and in sports.
Thank you for bringing us together!

It's all great. I love to read the forms and see some people's creativity! Reading yours was actually refreshing. This was probably my favorite response to write. (: Sorry for the length.
Please welcome siblings Allegra Juliet and Indigo Willoughby into your family! They are, respectively, 11 and 8 years old. They are very close and the agency has been extensively searching for a family that would adopt both, as to not separate them. Their single mother died six years ago and they have been living with a great aunt. The aunt's health has been quickly deteriorating and she is now is a nursing home, leaving the children with no other living relatives. Their aunt raised them in a gender neutral environment and always encouraged them to follow their heart, wherever it may lead them.
Allegra is going through puberty and has already been noticing girls in the way that most girls notice boys, yet no one has hastened to term her feelings by society's standards. She enjoys a wide variety of hobbies. Some include running track, shopping and hanging out with friends, reading and writing, putting together puzzles and solving word games, dancing, and playing outside. She is very self confident and is really open-minded. She has been scared and confused lately, with her great aunt being admitted to a nursing home and going through foster care, and she could really use someone to talk to, and that person needn't be a professional, just someone who cares. Her little brother is her best friend and they are often together.
Indigo tends to be a bit more reserved and on-guard than his sister. He has few friends and seldom opens up. He looks up to Allegra and tells her everything, and always looks to her first for advice. He is very interested in science and music. He likes to sit outside and night and look at the stars, and he has a vast knowledge of the constellations.

Update
I have put the same request in every adoption game I have ever played. You are the first one to ever indulge me in it. Thank you sincerely. It means more than a simple game.
Hello,
This is Shea reporting in on the status of Allegra and Indigo's settling in. They’ve been here three months now and have really been the light that was missing in the house. I’ve tried to limit my travels so I can be there more for my new family. Hopefully, in time, I can take them with me places, but I feel they should become adjusted to our home before I whisk them off to other parts of the world.
Almost immediately, I noticed more smiles on Finn’s face so I could tell we were headed in the right direction. Finn doesn’t smile so easily without a good reason. She LOVES having another girl in the house. At first, she said she didn’t know how to relate to a girl going through puberty because she’d never been there herself, but a few days later she said it seemed she and Allegra were just going through the same things at different stages of life. She said she didn’t know if that made her just as naive as Allegra about the situations, but I told her it probably made her easier to talk to. I figure she can relate better having been there recently as opposed to a parent who hasn’t been there in decades. I hope I’m right, but really, I have no idea. That in itself is kind of terrifying, but I think we‘re all handling it okay so far.
Finn took her shopping for some clothes for the summer and to just to give them time together. I figure that once I find out a bit more about what clothing she prefers, I’ll make her a few pieces in my next line. Until then, I just ordered her a few track jerseys in colours she seems to buy a lot of. I go running every morning and I started to offer to let her go running with me only a few days after she’d arrived, but she didn’t take me up on the offer until just this past Tuesday. That’s when I knew it was time to write to you and tell you how well she had settled. It seemed like a milestone.

Elijah Jedidiah is a 6 year old boy from England. His mother was a young teenage daughter of two very religious parents. The family doesn't believe in abortion so the girl carried the baby and after birth gave him up for adoption to the local Catholic church. He has been raised in the Catholic sect of Christianity. Elijah loves to play with other children and is a very social little boy. He likes to share his toys and teach other children things, and he is often the peacemaker in groups. He talks a lot and is very insistent upon helping people with any chores . He likes animals a lot, and seems to be interested in history. He reads at a level far above his peers would be thrilled if he had access to a continuous stream of books.
Please keep the agency updated on Elijah!

Elijah is a delightful addition to our family. He is always reading and very helpful. It is amazing how each of our children are so different but they all fit together, and we are so blessed to have pursued adoption. With 19 kids it finally feels like our family is complete.

Zabel Lucine is a healthy newborn from Armenia. Her mother died in childbirth and she has no known living relatives so family medical history is incomplete and unknown.
Please keep the agency updated on Zabel!
Please keep the agency updated on Zabel!
It's so hard to believe two years have passed! Zabel is our joy. She is now two years old and a complete motormouth and tomboy! So far she is completely healthy and very intelligent. She always makes her opinion known (both in English and French), and loves to play soccer with her brothers, who adore her. There is a vocal minority of Armenians in Paris, and even though ethnic minorities aren't as well-tolerated in France as they are in other areas of the world, we are dedicated to raising our children to be tolerant of all cultures. We have taken Zabel to some Armenian festivals and have read her many books about adoption and her culture. We are also trying to find a place where she can learn the Armenian language. We know she doesn't fully understand yet, but we hope that she grows up happy, healthy, secure in our love for her, and integrated into her Armenian heritage as much as possible.

Tiernan Daly is a seven year old boy from Ireland. His favorite hobbies involve animals, reading, playing outside, building 'forts', and collecting keys he finds. He isn't very social but he loves to tell stories to anyone who will listen.
Miklos Gabor and Juliska Adel are seven month old twins from Hungary. They are very healthy and very active. They're sure to keep you active and on your feet as well!
Please keep the agency updated on Tiernan, Miklos, and Juliska!
Tiernan has adjusted excellently. He is doing very well in school, and he loves spending time outside with Mara. They have become best friends. He also likes to write down his stories now. Whenever I can go riding, he likes to come with me. He already wants to start taking lessons.
Miklos and Juliska are always busy. Mara loves to play with them. I'm glad she does, because it gives me and Theo a break! When they are older, I hope we can find a way to channel their energy.
Thank you for bringing Tiernan, Miklos, and Juliska into our lives!

Dmitri Gabriel is a 4 year old from France. He has been in orphanages his whole life and was diagnosed with childhood cancer two years ago. He has what is called Acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), which is more common in adults than children, and carries a five-year survival rate of 40%. However, Dmitri has been in remission for over a year, is otherwise healthy, and is developmentally on track with his peers. Regular doctor visits are recommended for the next several years. He loves animals, the outdoors, and dancing.
Bridget Cecilia and Caius Jethro are one year old twins from England. Bridget is bossy and is blatantly the more dominant of the two. She likes things to go her way when they play. She tends to be fussy and likes the attention she receives. Caius seems more easy going and relaxed and he doesn't really seem to mind. He is quiet and sweet and loves to cuddle and be rocked.

Thanks so much for these wonderful children!
It's been two years since we received the children and everyone has settled in nicely.
Dmitri is still in remission and seems to be doing well. His doctors think that he should continue to do well for awhile. Because of his love of animals we got him his own dog to help him. He named it Chiot, which is French for puppy. He is very friendly with the other kids and has grown especially close to his older sister Sorie.
Bridget, though still extremely outgoing and a drama queen, is less bossy and fussy than when she first became a part of the family. She is always coming up with new ideas for games and insists that as many of the siblings as possibly can play with her at one time. We can tell already that she is going to be quite a girly-girl.
Caius, or Cai as we now call him, is a very carefree and agreeable child. He loves to sit with his older sisters to read a book. Cai is a lot quieter than his twin. He is especially fond of his brother JJ and follows him like a shadow.
Thanks again!

Sadie Morrigan and her little sister Meredith Irene are from America.
Sadie is 5 years old. She is very friendly. She loves to dance, help cook, play hide-and-seek, play with her sister, and make up games. She has a very imaginative and creative mind and thrives in an environment where people are more open-minded to her silly games and wacky ideas.
Meredith is 2 years old. She is walking, running, potty trained, and developmentally ahead of her peers. She adores her big sister and always wants to play with her. She partially understands the concept of hide-and-seek but only enough to hide in obvious places and be sought.
Please keep the agency updated on Sadie and Meredith!

(The triplets names were changed around/respelled as Tzvi Melek, Moshe Levi, & Miriam Sarit)
Yonatan- 39
Gabby- 38
Dan- 12
Tali- 8
Avi- 7
Maya- 4
Tzvi- 2
Moshe- 2
Miri- 2
When the triplets first came home, all our children, but Dan, were a little reserved. Maya didn't like the fact that she was no longer the baby, Avi was afraid she was going to hurt them, and Tali was annoyed at all the noise they made. After a week or so Avi got over her fear, but the other two girls took longer to actually like the babies.
Ayelet and Elad moved out about a year ago, when they got a new place with Ayelet's husband (she got married around Daniel's 11th birthday.
Now that the triplets are two (and a half!). The family has completely settled in to their lives with 9 people living under the same roof.
The family has a four bedroom apartment, in which Avi and Tali share a room, the boys share one room, and Maya and Miri share a room. Even though this arangement isn't the most ideal, the family is close-knit so they don't mind not having much elbow room, and when they do, they go into the living/dining combo area.

Juliet Eloise and Amos Benjamin are 16 year old twins. Their home life has always been complicated. Their father could never keep a job and their mother dropped out of college and had five children, the twins the eldest. Amos is very smart and a hard worker. He takes pride in his grades and work ethic. He studies or reads in the bulk of his free time, but he also likes to go to the park or ride his bike. Juliet gets great grades as well but doesn't have to work nearly as hard, nor does she like school as much. She loves to dance and draw. Juliet became pregnant and things at home turned bad. Her parents kicked her out, and Amos decided to leave too. Juliet's boyfriend has made it clear that he doesn't want to be a part of his child's life, but he sends her money regularly so that she can care for the child. She is close to her EDD, and still hasn't named her daughter.
Jack Malachi is a 6 year old boy. He loves water: he swims like a fish, can go fishing with the best of them, and would live in the water if someone would let him. He draws lighthouses and the ocean and looks forward to bath time. He also like to be read to. He likes to help people when they ask and he likes to ask questions about everything, such as how a toaster toasts bread or if fish sleep or high tall is the tallest mountain and have you ever been there.
Please keep the agency updated on Juliet, Amos, and Jack.

Juliet is now 17. She is still doing pretty well in school though her grades have dropped slightly just from juggling so many things. She has been working after school at a department store. She has a new boyfriend who is very nice and loves her and her daughter. She has been attending church with us and has decided for her sake and her daughter's to be celibate from now until she's married. During the day I watch they baby. She and Ally are a year and are growing up so fast. Juliet decided to name the baby Sophia Laine.
Amos has also gotten a job as a waiter. He is succeding in school and helps helps with his sisters, brother, and neice. He has made great friends around here.
Jack is now 7. He's gotten the triplets started on asking questions all the time but they come up with some real interesting ones. He has signed up for swimming at the YMCA and loves it. He also loves helping teach the triplets to swim. Together him and Juliet drew a beautiful ocean lighthouse scene for Ally and Sophia's nursery.
All the kids have really bonded together. The triplets fight over whose baby Ally is and whose's Sophia is. They want us to get them another one. Not seeing that happen anytime soon but they love to take care of them and they love having a big sister and brothers to play with. The dog and cat love all the extra attention.

Ruben Nicolas is an eight year old boy from Puerto Rico. His parents were in a car accident when he was five, and both of them and his older brother died. He has a younger brother named Mateo that was adopted into another Puerto Rican family that he'd like to keep in contact with if you allowed.
Ruben loves to read, play soccer, mini golf, play laser tag, and hang out with kids his age. He is very outgoing and he's always the first person to approach a new child at school. He loves making friends!

Thank you for the children!
Tommy and Olly have been doing excellently. Tommy is such a sweet young boy, minutes older than his brother but acting as if he were much his senior! He's surprisingly patient about the fact that Mamma can't get to him very quickly, and likes to read with me. Olly, on the other hand, goes on very well with Taddeo, especially since he knew his Pappa makes video games and plays football too! Every day we gather together for a quick drawing session. The boys are learning Italian, and they are learning it very quickly.
Thank you once again for bringing light and warmth to our family!

Isla Mathilde, Henry Phineas, and Lucy Imogen are two week old healthy triplets from the United States.
Please keep the agency updated on Isla, Henry, and Lucy!
4 years later...
Rhett babies Lucy and just adores her, he likes Isla and Henry too, but Lucy has a special place in his affections. They are all growing steadily. I guess I like them...Henry is the only one that truly appreciates me, Isla likes to cook and clean. I don't know why she does though, we have plenty of servants, she spends all her time with them.
As always I am yours truly,

Liliana Sorina, Adela Violeta, and Simon Artur are siblings from Romania. They are, respectively, aged 7, 4, and 1.
Liliana likes to draw, read, and play board games. She loves being around other children and has always wanted to be in a larger family. She is very close to her little sister and brother and loves to teach them new things. For example, Liliana is teaching Adela how to read, and she shows Simon how to build towering towers out of his blocks.
Adela is a free spirited child. She loves to do anything as long as she is with someone else. She is a quick learner. She loves to have stories read to her and for someone to braid her hair.
Simon loves his big sisters and loves playing games. He is very active and loves to run around.
Please keep the agency updated on how Liliana, Adela, and Simon adjust!

Please welcome to your family identical twins Martin Jovan and Goran Augustin and their sister Mila Veronika.
Martin and Goran are 4 years old and Mila is 3. Their Serbian parents already have five older children and can barely afford to take care of that many, so shortly after Mila's birth the three youngest children were abandoned. They were discovered and taken to the Serbian Orthodox Christian Church, and they have been raised as Christians.
The children like to swim, finger paint, play outside, read, dance, and talk. Martin is very outgoing while Goran is the opposite and very shy. They usually play with the same children. They love Mila and are very close to her. The church refused to separate the siblings and looked for an adopting family willing to adopt all three. Mila is very sweet and she loves dogs.
Please keep the agency updated on how Martin, Goran, and Mila adjust!
Two years ago, the whole family was so excited to go and get our newest members. We all traveled to Serbia during the summer, as Lily and Samantha wouldn't hear of being left behind and wated to meet their new brothers and sister as soon as possible. We met Martin, Goran, and Mila and we all instantly fell in love with them. The children took longer to warm to us, as they all three had issues trusting adults after their parents abandoned them, but after a few months they came to trust all of us and love us. We're now all very close.
Martin and Goran are now entering the first grade. Their English has improved dramatically and they are now out of English-as-a-second-language classes. Martin and Goran both have made quite a lot of friends. We have gotten Martin into sports as a way to channel his energy, and he is doing very well on his T-ball team. Goran showed an instant interest in violin playing, and I began to teach him. Mila has also shown a marked interest in music, and Lily has been teaching her piano. Mila loves to play with her older sisters, and they both love to play with her. She is more of a daddy's girl, and she loves to follow Quinn around and is always asking him about the plans he is working on. She is in kindergarten now, and as a sweet, bright, bubbly little girl she is quite popular with her teacher and class. Our three wonderful children have fit right into our hearts, and we are so grateful to you for making them part of our family.

Moira Kathleen is a healthy little girl that was born in Ireland a month ago.
Lucas Paul is a 7 year old from America. He is shy and quiet, and very smart. He loves building entire cities from Legos, and everyone often jokes that he will be the world's next famous and brilliant architect. He has a keen eye and a knack for seeing just how things fit together and loves the mechanics in things. He likes to take things apart ot see how they work and then put them back together again. He has always wanted to be a big brother and really hopes that he will find a place he can call home.
Please keep the agency updated on how Moira and Lucas adjust!

Louisa Corinne is a two year old girl from England. She was born with a congenital heart defect called ventricular septal defect (VSD). The doctors have said that this should correct itself on its own as little Louisa's heart grows. She should see the doctor regularly to monitor this as, if the defect doesn't heal itself she will need surgery.
Louisa is a very giddy little girl. She loves animals, especially dogs and kittens. She likes to spend time outdoors and sit and the grass or walk around smelling flowers. Nothing is known about her birth parents and she has been in foster cares since shortly after birth.
Damien Henri is a 15 year old boy from France. He is healthy, fit, and very active. He loves playing sports and hanging out with friends. He also is an avid reader and when he isn't playing sports he is rarely seen without a book in hand. He has excellent grades and really strives to do the best he can in school. He aspires to get a really good scholarship for college, but he hasn't decided what he wants to be. In addition to his native French, he also speaks fluent English and learned ASL by watching instructional American films.
Please keep the agency updated on how Damien and Louisa adjust!
