It's been three years since Piper, now known as the Bea was born and little brother Nate and little sister Holly has arrived. At first Bea was excited with them but now she's just annoyed (even though their temperment is more like the older three). Eva, Charlie, and Bastian try to be supportive, but don't see her problem as that big, and are glad to have 8 hours a day away from the Bea.

Carys gives birth to a baby girl on Christmas Eve during a large snow storm. They name her Gwyneira and call her Gwyn, after her Welsh heritage and her mn is Esha after her Indian heritage. Her fn means white snow and her mn means "desire, wish". Gwyn has slightly fairer then even Dirk and Wolf, but not as light as her mother. She has her mothers blue eyes and her father's dark brown hair and long dark eye lashes. Carys thinks that it is unlikely that any of her children will have her blond hair.
Vasu is doing very well in school and has a tennis coach and likes to play golf. The family all goes on ski trips often during the winter and they use their friends ski chalet in Steam Boat. Tala and Otto don't ski yet. The children usually hang out in the chalet and the adults take turns watching them. Dirk and Wolf do tricks and jumps and love skiing. They also play soccer, hockey, and American Football. This is Wolf and Dirk's first year of elementary school, they turned 6 near Thanksgiving. Their favorite part of school is gym and they also like computer studies and public speaking.
Tala and Otto are 3 years old and they are more quiet and gentle than Wolf and Dirk. Tala and Otto are both obsessed with spending time with animals and love to listen to music.
The whole family views Gwyn as the best Christmas gift of all and are in love with their baby sister. Tala and Carys are both happy for another female.

They were glad and very impressed when a stocking with Natalie's name appeared on it on Christmas morning, taking it as proof that Santa is all-knowing. Lile and Owen let them think this--they're already talking about being extra good from now on!
