The compromise round 1 (you may still sign-up)
This round you will just be picking out locations (pick a city, state/province, country) and last names. Also tell together how and when you met, and how long ago you got married (if you didn't describe yourself, go right ahead and do so). I would also love it if you would discuss how many children you'd like.Link to sign-up round: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/view.php?id=3722597&board=gameAderyn Azula & AnnaMarie

Signing up!Hurm...I don't know what we need here, but I reckon it is a husband. Well, if we need a husband, then "my name is Lex", but if we needed a wife, then let me be "Thalia". I will be located...wherever I am needed, but I prefer Europe or UK.I apologise for my awkwardness. This is the first time I join such a game.
vote up1
I'm going to wait a bit and if no one else cares to join I'll be your partner too.

Aheheh...You'll be playing so many people at once! Oh, well. Then maybe I should just settle on one person. All right then Alexander, nn Lex, living somewhere in Europe or UK.

I don't mind at all. Would you like me ask your partner (I wouldn't mind at all, in fact it could be fun.... Or would you rather be by yourself? Or maybe you could have one of my partners)

LN - I'm good with whatever for the last name considering it would come from Noah, so that's really up to you.Location - The States are fine.Lilith would prefer one or two children.I'll think up a story later, unless you have any ideas.

Noah has always known larger families, but 2 seems fine since Lilith would be the one carrying and delivering. LN- COHENWhich state would you like? And ok about the story

Hm...Pennsylvania, Maine, Oregon and Virginia all sound kind of fun.Noah and Lilith were...introduced by a mutual friend and hit it off so they decided to try going out. They got married about ten months ago.Yeah, I'm not really in story-ish mood today. If you have anything to add or whatever feel free.

Okay...so we have to live somewhere in Mexico, Canada, or the USA. You can chose that, I just don't want Mexico.
Our kids' names have to start with "E"
How many kids do you want to have? I was thinking 2-5, but you can chose that.
For last names: I went to the site, and made a list of all the ones I like. You can narrow it down more, or suggest some you liked, or both.

I actually prefer Europe, I was thinking the British Isles but Scandinavia is interesting too. Of course, if you have other suggestions, I'm more than willing to listen!Louisa would like at least two children, as she can't picture her lfie without her sister and figures no child of hers should have to. She hasn't settled on a maximum number of kids, so starting at 4 like Edward would like is perfect ;)As for surnames, I really like Black. I think it's one of the coolest surnames there is, haha. How long have Edward and Louisa been married for now? Oh, and I just realised I hadn't given Louisa a middle name, so she is now Louisa Margaret.
vote up1
Black and Europe it is then?
Well I live in Scandinavia (Sweden) and I think it's intresting, but British Isles is fine too. Your choice, as long as it isn't FInland ;-)Married....a year or two maybe?
vote up1
Yup, Black and Europe. Hmm, I rolled a die and got number 2, which equalled Scotland in my key. Is that okay with you, or would you prefer some other place?I'd say two years is fine, personally I find it a bit odd when couples have kids right after they marry (it makes me wonder if they got married just to have children born in wedlock).Since I seem to be suffering from a severe bout of amnesia, how did Edward and Louisa meet? Did they date for long before getting married?
vote up1
Scotland and two years is great :)I'm not very good at making these "how did they meet" things up, they are always very boring! =P But maybe they met through their friends (at a party or something?), at a concert, while they were traveling, at the hospital, at someones job? If you have other suggestions let me know! Maybe they dated for...a year? Or did they date longer? Edward isn't very good with numbers and remembering stuff either. ;-)

Okay, then we're settled!I've got an idea: one of them could be a friend of a friend of the other, and one day said mutual friend decided to go camping with all his/her friends, including Edward and Louisa (who didn't know each other yet). Off they all went in their merry way, and in the second day or so (assuming they went camping for a week), Louisa accidentally incapacitated Edward by losing her balance while taking a picture from a particularly beatiful spot while standing on a slippery rock, falling down and landing on him, causing him to break an arm or a wrist or just suffer some mild injury. After that, she'd be very worried and embarrassed and would take him to the hospital, and once they were back at the camp site she would help him around since he wouldn't be in a 'fit state' (according to Louisa). Edward would forgive her, they would start going out once everyone was safely back in their homes, and after a year or so of dating (in today's society everything seems to be done so quickly), they'd get married. Ta-dah!Feel free to change things, criticise, applause, or come up with something else entirely lol :PEdited because I can't spell :/

That sounds quite funny actually :P
So, applause! I think we have our story finished then? ;)
vote up1
I was laughing as I wrote it because it's so silly :P it's the sort of thing I could see happening in a romantic comedy, Bridget Jones-style.So, lest they forget: Edward (26) and Louisa (25) have been married for two years, and they had been dating for a year before that. They met through a mutual friend and under less-than-favourable circumstances, but love prevailed and got their happily ever after (lol) in Scotland. Also, as for extended families, are Louisa and Edward's parents/siblings living close to them? In another city? In another country? Do they all get along, or is there any particular animosity between two or more family members?

You were a friend of my brothers. but we bumped into each other at the local plaza. At first you were like "Hey watch where you're going!" and then you asked me out for coffee. A few days later you came over to study with my brother and asked me out on an offical date. The rest was history. You also don't remember our wedding quite right, it couldn't have been at a church (I'm Jewish) would you like to try again? As for kids: 2+

Yes, after meeting Bea, Jake fell madly in love and was so much in love he decide to celebrate Pesach with her family. Once there he was fasinated and when he proposed he decided to convert, so the children wouldn't grow up confused. Questions:
How did his parents feel about the conversion?
How did Jake react to Bea's family? (once you write this one then I can write their reactions)
vote up1
Since Jake had grown up as a Catholic, his parents weren't completely sure about the conversion, but after he explained that he and Bea wanted to bring the children up with just one faith and they had looked at both options, they were more understanding. Their biggest concern? What about Christmas and Easter?Jake was fascinated by Bea's family and culture, since he had grown up in a Catholic household. He was very interested in learning about their religion and sometimes may have asked too many questions. He's very hopeful that her parents will accept him and be willing to mentor him in his conversion.
vote up1
Bea decided that even the littlest hint of Cathlicism could confuse the children therefore no Christmas and Hannukah. But her compromise to Jake was that every holiday that wasn't religious would be spent with his family. (is that okay?)Bea's Ima and Abba (mom & dad) were at first concerned about the fact that she was marrying a Catholic. But they trusted him to take good care of their daughter and so they gave them their blessing (even though they secretly wished that she had chosen the nice Jewish boy, Lior, from down the street.

For my maiden name I like Clark, Foster and Davis.Since I come from only a family of four, I always loved the idea of a big family. At the least three children, and at most six.Wales seems the perfect place to live, I always loved the UK.(And I don't understand the 'remember' things. I've never done this before =/)---------------

Hi - this is what I posted on the sign up round:Hi, my name is Zachary, but everyone just calls me Zach.I'm 27, have wavy dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. My family is of european origins and thanks to that ancestory I have olive skin. I'm an architect, and my father and I own our own company - Moreno & Moreno Architecture.A little bit about my family, my mum's name is Sophia, and she owns her own fashion boutique. My dad's name is Oscar and, as I said, he and I are partners in an Architecture firm. I have 2 younger sisters, Selena & Natalia. Selena is 25 and has just graduated law school, and Natalia is 23 and is currently in New York city trying to make her 'big break' on to broadway. So - tell me about yourself?I had already given my character a surname - Moreno. Of course, that can be changed, but I would like to keep it if gabriellagrace agrees... You can use one of your choices as your maiden name? How about this - they met in [we can decide where, but I was thinking somewhere in America?] where they both grew up. Zach is of Spanish ancestory, and was given an oppurtunity to be the architect on a historical rebuilding project in Spain. He and Alicia decided to take the oppurtunity and move to Spain so Zach could get to know his Spanish roots, and because Alicia had always loved the country. What do you think? Also, we could make it that Alicia is also of Spanish decent if you like? That could have been what attracted them to each other in the first place... How do you think they met? You didn't say what Alicia does as a living, so i'm not sure if they could've met through work... There is always 'met through friends'?Also, we all know that bride's mostly plan the wedding, so what was Alicia & Zach's like? Any ideas on how long they've been married?4-5 kids sounds good to me :)GabriellaGrace - I did give Zach a surname in the signup round (Moreno), can I keep this, or should I change it?

DH: Zachary Diego "Zach" (27)
DW: Alicia ? [nee Aritza] (24)Alicia and Zach met 5 years ago at a mutual friends birthday party. They were drawn to each other as they are both from Spanish ancestory, which isn't something that was particularly common in San Francisco where they both lived. They became inseperable from that very first meeting, and Zach proposed to Alicia on their one year anniversary. A year later they were married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. They've been married for 3 years now, and Zach has just been given an oppurtunity to be the architect on a high profile historical rebuilding project in Spain. Both Alicia and Zach are very excited about the move to Spain as they will get a chance to explore their ancestory, although they are said to be leaving their family and friends. What do you think? Any changes you would like to make?Oh and Alicia needs a middle name, and what is her occupation?
