Family 1: Alex and Brantly are excited to start their lives. Alex is a musician who is trying to form his own band. Brantly is a high school PE teacher.
Brantly and Alex just had their first children. Twins! Poppy and Mariam are both very happy babies and were born easily. Brantly has taken maternity leave but wants to return to work soon enough.
The Shapiros welcome Chis to their growing family. Alex is happy to have another child but Brantly is a little overwhelmed with three kids under age two! Poppy and Mariam are both glad to have a baby brother.
Little Sam has just been born. All the children are excited to have a new baby brother! And Alex and Brantly are thrilled. Poppy and Giselle are going to start school soon and Chris is in preschool.
This year, Alex and Brantly have decided to get a divorce. This has been very hard on their kids, especially Poppy and Mariam, who are old enough to wonder why Mommy and Daddy are always fighting.

David and Jenn have welcomed their new daughter, Anna. Jenn is glad to have a daughter and so is David. David recently received a promotion at work and is doing well.
The Weiss's have just had another daughter, Rachel. She is very tiny, as she was born prematurly and had to spend several weeks in the hospital. But, now she is fine and the family is very happy with the new sister.
David and Jenn welcome their son Jacob. They Weiss family is doing well, Gavin just started school and is doing well. Anna is learning to read and loves to hear stories

Jon and Cathy have divorced. Cathy felt that Jon was doing little to help her raise the children anyway, and they had been arguing quite a lot. She also noticed him looking at other women every time they went out, and felt like her weight gain due to multiple children had caused her to become unattractive him. She felt like her life had been reduced to wife and mother/baby factory. They tried counselling, but were unsuccessful. Jon gets custody of the children every second weekend. The kids are dealing with it was well as can be expected, but don't entirely understand.

They don't plan to stop yet, and hope to have a few more girls in future, as at the moment poor Laurel is suffocating in pink and dolls, being the only girl. Link's issues at school have pretty much cleared up: there is no longer a feud between the neighbourhood families, but they are not best friends either. Carter, Clint and Harry are all at school as well, and are enjoying it. They have all made many friends.

She also goes to ballet classes and takes swimming lessons which she enjoys. Matilda and Zachary are in Year 3 and they are both doing really well at school. Zachary is on the football team which he loves doing. He is also a big Manchester United fan and he goes with Lucas to watch the games whenever they can. Matilda also loves to do ballet and she really likes drawing and painting. Imogen is in reception and she is doing very well at school and she has made lots of friends. She is very excited to be in her first nativity play as an angel. Scarlett loves going to her child minders because she gets to play with her friend Seb and the other children.
