Welcome to Round two of the Royal Congrats. Each of you now has a Royal family in progress, Royal House, and Kingdom. Unless you specify a daughter as Crown Princess, I will assume that you will name your first-born son Crown Prince.

Writing Prompt
Round 1: You inherit the throne unexpectedly, as the old King dies suddenly. The Kingdom is feeling uneasy. Even though you are young (or relatively young), you have no siblings and the line of succession is not clear if something were to happen to you. Your advisors pressure you to marry immediately, and you do so. Is this just a marriage of necessity, or do you have feelings for the person? Just one year after your coronation, the Kingdom welcomes your first (and maybe second) born. Even though you might not have a Crown Prince, the Kingdom is starting to relax because it seems like there will not be any fertility issues. How is your Queen adjusting to life as a Crown Royal and a Mother?
Round 2: Two years have passed since the birth of your first-born, and your Queen has dutifully provided another Royal child. The Kingdom is thrilled, and celebrated the birth with much gusto. However, not all has been well in the Kingdom. There has been (drought/famine/war/plague/etc.), and your people are suffering. Because of this, you try and instill hope and comfort with the naming of your new Prince(ss). Finally, your people have dubbed you with a popular-use nickname (ie. Alexander “The Great” or William “The Wise” or Charles “The Insane”) for your actions during your reign and especially during the resent bad times. What popular-use nickname have the dubbed the King with? Did they also provide one for the Queen?

P.S. I'm reverting into my former titles now.
3 Delaro 1445. King Iker of Solandra died in his sleep after a heart attack. Not a very surprising incident, since he had had a heart attack some time ago. But now that King Iker has died, the kingdom is thrown into disarray. The Crown Prince Itzal is supposed to claim the throne, but his elder sister, the Infanta Leandra, will not allow him. She claimed that the eldest child of the regent must reign, and not necessarily the male heirs. Infante Itzal disagreed, and, after a long debate, the Advisors Royal decided to settle down and chose Itzal instead, as tradition requires. Thus, Infante Itzal was crowned King Itzal I of Solandra.
Soon, though, the Advisors Royal started nagging on the newly-crowned king again. This time, they suggested strongly that he marry the woman long betrothed to him, the Princess Mirelle of Arded. Forced by circumstances, Itzal agreed and married the Princess, naming her Queen Mirelle of Solandra.
Queen Mirelle gave birth to twin daughters at 26 Joetas the following year. The king was joyful, although some dispute whether or not he truly loved his queen, and if he was truly happy. The daughters, christened Infanta Hena and Infanta Tziska, were named after their mother and her family.

3 Delaro 1445. King Iker of Solandra died in his sleep after a heart attack. Not a very surprising incident, since he had had a heart attack some time ago. But now that King Iker has died, the kingdom is thrown into disarray. The Crown Prince Itzal is supposed to claim the throne, but his elder sister, the Infanta Leandra, will not allow him. She claimed that the eldest child of the regent must reign, and not necessarily the male heirs. Infante Itzal disagreed, and, after a long debate, the Advisors Royal decided to settle down and chose Itzal instead, as tradition requires. Thus, Infante Itzal was crowned King Itzal I of Solandra.
Soon, though, the Advisors Royal started nagging on the newly-crowned king again. This time, they suggested strongly that he marry the woman long betrothed to him, the Princess Mirelle of Arded. Forced by circumstances, Itzal agreed and married the Princess, naming her Queen Mirelle of Solandra.
Queen Mirelle gave birth to twin daughters at 26 Joetas the following year. The king was joyful, although some dispute whether or not he truly loved his queen, and if he was truly happy. The daughters, christened Infanta Hena and Infanta Tziska, were named after their mother and her family.

I still cannot believe it. Only two weeks ago I was the fourth son of a King and tomorrow they will crown me King. I cannot rule our Kingdom! It was never supposed to be me! The war ruined everything. It has ruined our lands, it has taken my brothers and my father. After Morc and Em had perished in battle, I kept thinking "at least Bryn is still alive to serve as Crown Prince". But then the news came. I can still feel the wax seal breaking between my fingers. The message contained seven words: "Brynmor dead, King mortally wounded, battle lost".
I conferred with my Father's advisors. For the first time as far as I can recall, they agreed: I should marry my eldest brother's fiancée in his stead, I should get her with child as soon as possible, I should be crowned the day after the burial of my father and brothers, and General Andor would command the army during this war.
I saw the sense in their advice and agreed. I would need to get an heir, since there was no one besides me who could make a claim on the throne. I would marry Salacia, since we needed the alliance with her House. I would be crowned King, even though I don't think I'm up for this responsibility. And Andor was truly the only hope Terra Pagoda had left now in this war, now that my Father and brothers were gone.
The coronation ceremony was kept sober, and so was the wedding that took place the week after. Most Lords were too busy fighting in the war to attend, so the guests consisted mostly of their noble Ladies and the very old and very young Lords. I was glad when it was over. Salacia looked beautiful, but it kept going through my mind that she should have been Bryn's wife, not mine. At night, when we found ourselves alone in what was now our bedroom, we did the duty we had to for the sake of the Kingdom.

Arthur and I were really saddened by the tradic death of his beloved parents King Ross Arthur Thaddeus and Queen Marissa Noreen. They had been very generous to us and left the land of Terra. The people of Terra were instantly displeased with me due to the fact that King Arthur and I married for love and were not arranged. I also came from a middle class family, which disturbed them. Originally Arthur and I wanted to wait for at least a year before trying for a child but the Terran's were very uneasy at the idea of a young queen and king. So we tried for a baby as soon as possible and ended up with two! This made all in the kingdom joyous because, even if the girls weren't exactly Crown Princes there was still a chance that we would have a son.
When Thea and Josie were two we added another little one to the bunch. We called her Nadine, which means Hope, because times here are tough now. You see the kingdom is in a war, which started as a dispute, with Jacarta, a land very near. They where trying to mess with our borders so they could get more land. After the dispute they invaded and declared war. Right now Artie is known as "Arthur the Wise" because even thought they have a larger army we are still winning. They also call me "The Mother" because while he's gone I'm taking care of the country and the little girls they are all so madly "in love" with.

In the begaining Crown Prince Bryant and Princess Anastasia of Soewen were just to be marryed under King James's rule. they both loved each other and were thrilled that there marige was to be aranged by themselves, and not by politics. They had aranged there weding to be on Mendfed, the day of spring celibration. They made sure that it was planed early and everyone knew about it, for it was Wycliffe custom that you couldn't cancel your wedding, it just wasn't done. A month before Mendfed, King James got sick. It was just a cough he'd say, nothing sirious. three weeks past, and it was plain to see the King was getting worse. but King James would hear none of it, "it's my own body, shouldn't I know best!" Crown Prince Bryant didn't worry to much, he was to buzy with wedding plans.

The Advisors of the young King Albert were searching for a good bride for him to become Queen and to bear his children. They settled for Beatrice, a distant cousin of the King. At first, Albert wasn't really happy about marrying at such an young age, but when he met Beatrice, they got along quite well. A couple of months later they married and over the time they started to really fall in love with eachother. Shortly afterwards the Queen became pregnant and gave birth to Princess Elizabeth (nicknamed Betsy). Beatrice, though she was related with the royal family even before her marriage, had a hard time to settle at the Viridian court, but she now adjusted to her life as a Queen and mother as well.
The second pregnancy of the Queen resulted in the birth of Princess Calanthe and, more importantly, of Prince Valerius, the first son of the couple. The joy about the birth soon came to an end when the Epidemic typhus started to spread among the people of Viridian. The king quickly decided to help his people by sending out doctors and setting up special hospitals. The decease was successly banished and people started to recover. Prince Valerius was named Crown Princess and the people gave King Albert the nickname "the Just", while the Queen was nicknamed "the Caring" because during the time of the plague, she took care of sick people herself even though she knew that she might get sick herself.

She had no say in the marriage arrangement, as her father and the King handled everything and never bothered to ask her much.
After the marriage, Queen Rosabla felt confused and unsure of what she was suppose to do or where she was suppose to be. Her husband and King had no time for her and saw her very little outside of the marriage bed. After she became pregnant, she saw her husband even less, but gained some companions.
With the birth of twin daughters, the King finally saw his Queen as more then just the necessity that was forced on him when his father died. He started talking to her more, and found many things that he liked about her. Pretty soon, the couple became a couple in more then just name. Every morning, the two tried to have breakfast together, and every evening the two tried to find a time when they could talk about the day.
The spring after the birth of the little Princess', a drought struck the Kingdom and ruined many crops. The following spring, there was still no end to the drought, and the people despaired of having enough to eat. Many were on the brink of starving. And then, the Queen gave birth to Crown Prince Nico during the very last days of Summer. One month later, when his name was announced to the Kingdom, there was rain.
Throughout the drought, the King sought to make sure his people had enough to eat, and would not allow any banquets in his Castle until the common people could have their own abundance. The common people took to calling King Jasper "the August" and their Queen "The Sweet".

King Nikolai married Elisabeth three years ago. He had to marry someone. If you ask Nikolai, Elisabeth is the woman of his dream. She's the only one he would ever dream of marry. The Kingdom relaxed when they got married, but when their first child was born, a princess who they named Amelie, things got even better. They were thinking about changing the law. If something would happen to Nikolai before they had a son someone had to take over. They wanted that person to be Amelie, even though she is a girl.
However, they didn't need to change the law. Elisabeth become pregnant again, this time with twins.
They were having a boy and a girl and the Kingodm were thrilled. It's been hard time in the Kingdom though, and because of this the Royal Family wanted their children to have firstnames that had something to do with good things. So they named them Felix and Léonide.
The Kingdom loves King Nikolai, and they therefore gave him a nickname, King Nikolai The Good. It didn't take long until his wife, Queen Elisabeth, got a nickname too. She is now Wueen Elisabeth The Fair.
Elisabeth loves her life. Being a wife and a mom is everything she ever dreamed of. And Nikolai loves his life as a King, married to the most beautiful woman in the Kingdom (at least if you ask him) and seeing their three little children growing up too fast.
