Ben and Lula caught the chicken pox from their neighborhood playmate Joash when Andela was eight months pregnant. Mom & Dad figured Miri and Charlie might as well get it too rather than get immunized or catch it later in life. Sure enough, within a few days, they were covered in red spots like the twins. Aunty Mirjana came and stayed with the family a few days to help care for the itchy young’ns and also lent a hand when the new baby arrived. She was rewarded with several spectacular crayon drawings from the children and with a new niece named after her - Daisy Heart Mirjana.

Solon and Sally were very happy when Sunny arrived and the first couple of weeks went pretty much according to plan, but then Sunny got a fever and she wouldn't eat anymore. She's losing weight and the doctors aren't sure what's wrong with her. They think it's some sort of virus, but they don't know which one. She's in the hospital and not doing well at all. Thankfully after a trip to the doctor we discovered it was just a tummy bug that had been making its way around Lula's primary school and we were given some medicine to make it better. Lula hated the medicine but was overjoyed about a few days off school!

A few weeks after the birth of the twins Miranda got really sick. She was very tired and kept throwing up. We found out she had a hole in her heart. She had surgery and is doing much better

A few weeks after the birth of the twins Miranda got really sick. She was very tired and kept throwing up. We found out she had a hole in her heart. She had surgery and is doing much better
