You can either make the original name you wanted be the name that you are using OR you can pretend you had another name and used the one from the twin pair instead.

For example, if I had twin girls and picked out the names Emma and Isabelle and Emma was the doctor's name, I could either say that we used Emma anyways or say that we originally picked out, say, Grace, and used Emma instead.
