The Parsons
DH: Brandon Donald (deceased)
DW: Tracy Rebecca (23)
DS: Brandon Donald Jr. "?"
Brandon Parsons was a US Marine who was deployed to Iraq. A little while after he departed for Iraq his wife Tracy discovered she was expecting their first child, a boy. Tragically, Brandon was killed just weeks before his son arrived. Tracy was devastated. She decided to name their son after Brandon, but is having a hard time deciding what to call him. It breaks her heart to say the name "Brandon" right now, so she doesn't think she can call him that, but she really doesn't like his middle name, Donald (or Don or Donny). She thinks it sounds like an old man name, although she does want it to be her son's MN. Help her decide what she should call little Brandon Donald Jr.!

The Matousheks
DH: Andrew Joseph "Andy" (27)
DW: Leah Michelle (27)
DD:
Andy and Leah Matoushek are expecting their first child, a girl. Andy has suggested a lot of names for her, but Leah, who has always been somewhat of a tomboy, insists that all of his suggestions are "too frilly and girly." She wants something strong and simple, but Andy wants to be sure that her name identifies her as a girl. For the MN they want to use one of the following family names: Josephine, Margaret, Sarah, Victoria, Susannah, or Bernadette.

The Colliers

Hampton and Martha Collier are a young couple from New England. They are expecting a baby girl! They want their baby's name to be very pretty: either a traditional name with a cute NN or a surname. The want her to have 2 MN's, one a classic, and one a family surname from this list: Parker, Rhodes, Davis, Talver, Benson, or Hangerford.

The Nikolsons
DH: Gregory Allen (34)
DW: Karen Simone (33)
DD or DS:
The Nikolsons are both classicists. The both love names from Greek and Roman history and mythology and would like to use one such name for their child, but they don't want something too odd that will scream "my parents are classicists!" They want a simple MN that will balance the FN well.

The Rothgaards
DH: James Aaron "Jim" (28)
DW: Gina Katherine (27)
DS:
The Rothgaards are a couple who are in the Foreign Service and thus move to various places throughout the world every couple of years. They are currently living in Germany, and they are expecting their first child, a boy. They have decided to give each of their children a name from the language of the place where they are living at the time of the child's birth, so they thus want to give their first son a German name. They want it to be something not typically used in English, but that will not be too odd. They want a name used frequently in both English and German for the MN.
