Welcome Felix, Carmen, Alexander, and Michelle
Felix Diego and Carmen Maria are three year old twins from Mexico. They have black hair and brown eyes. Their parents gave them up because they could not afford to take care of them, but they would like to contact the twins later. Felix loves dogs, coloring, and boats, while Carmen loves cats, coloring, and unicorns.
Alexander Martin is a four year old boy from the United States. His parents recently died which is why he is up for adoption. He has dark blond hair and green eyes. Alex likes animals, tv, and playing outside.
Michelle Celestre is a five year old girl from France. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Her parents gave her up because they could not afford to take care of her. They would like to contact her sometimes. Michelle loves the outdoors, reading, and talking.
It would be wonderful to hear about how the kids are adjusting

It has been one year since we received the children.
All of the kids are doing great. Each of the kids received their own pet when they came. Felix automatically chose a dog and Alex decided he wanted one too, just like Felix. Felix named his Maria after his sister and Alex named his Elmo from his favorite tv show, Sesame Street. Carmen chose a cat and named it Starla because she has a star shaped mark on her back. Michelle, wanting a more exotic outdoorsy animal, chose a monkey, which we were hesitant to get at first but eventually gave in. She named it Jungle and now never goes any where without knowing where he is first and making sure he's going to be okay. Alex and Felix were immediately best friends and did anything and everything together. While Carmen was a little jealous at first, she eventually became friends with Michelle and we also enrolled her in the local preschool so she could make more friends. Michelle enjoys making up games for the younger kids to play and is always finding something new for them to do. The kids really look up to her and she is almost like their leader. Felix, Carmen, and Michelle have all remained in contact with their parents and have even visited them a few times. All of the kids have adjusted very well and we are very happy to have them all in our lives.
Thank you for these wonderful children!
