P.S. (off subject) You're German too!? So's my family. We can trace back really really far. It's easy for people to tell that we originate from Germany because of the surname Bergstresser. Everyone pronounces it burg stress with and er on the end but it's a berg strass er.(a pronounced ahh like when the docter tells you to say it.) Sorta. Oh well. Now that you've listened to me blab. Good day.

thats cool. i just found online a family history someone else did who is in my line with lots of info from the first generations of my family known. and apparantly my ln was a rather rare one here (america) and in germany. i personally have never met someone with the same last name as me that wasnt close family. my ln now is a slight variation of the original one, but that happens often. how far back can u trace. i'm 1520 to ellweiler, germany
