The year is now 1945. You can have great-grandchildren if you want. Or, you can continue to have grandchildren.
Remember to complete Round 9 before starting this round.
Rounds 11 and hopefully 12 will be posted tomorrow. Round 12 will be the last required round. Then there will be an optional 1960s/1970s round, provided some people are willing to have their couples live long enough.
Events:
The US enters WWII in 1941 after the bombing of
Pearl Harbor.
Millions of people, including 6 million Jews, are killed by the Nazis during WWII.
D-Day occurs in 1944.
WWII ends in 1945.
Writing is required. Here are some ideas to help you. You can choose more than one:
1. One of the spouses has an aged, widowed mother who moves in. How does life change?
2. A refugee from Europe comes to live with you temporarily. Who is he/she, what country is he/she from, and why did they leave home?
3. The family had to ration during the war. Was it easy or hard?
4. One or more of your sons or grandsons was killed in WWII. Where was he and how did he get killed?
5. The husband of one of your daughters (if you have a married one) is cheating on her. Do they work it out or get divorced?
6. A number of female relatives get jobs in various male-dominated industries. Do they like it there? Do they want to keep their jobs?
