Helpbananarama's Keep-Up-Yourself Congrats - Sign-ups and Round 1
The Rachels (Rachel Shaina and Rachel Dianne) had such fun congrats that I decided to start my own! Patterned after theirs, it starts in the year 1900. You have a couple and their first baby.

Kelly and Rose have Edward Gunn.
Kelly Gunn and Rose Lindsey, both of wealthy families, had their marriage arranged when they were young. They met when Rose was 16 and Kelly 18. Lucky for their families, they took a liking to each other right away and married the next year.
Not more than a year later, their son, Edward Lindsey was born. He was named so after his father's middle name, and his mother's maiden name.

Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Samir is a Christian Lebanese immigrant to Brazil, while Honorata is Brazilian-born. They came from very different cultures, so at first their parents were reluctant to let them marry. But they successfully convinced them otherwise. Less than a year after the wedding, they had a son. They gave him a Portuguese FN and an Arabic MN to honor both sides of his family.

James and Mary just met each other recently but they hit it off quickly and soon married. They wanted to have children quickly after their wedding and were happy when less than three months later Mary announced to James that she was pregnant with their first child. A little less than nine months later Mary gave birth to a healthy baby girl who they named Margaret Mary.
