Helpbananarama's Writing Congrats - Round 1
Sorry, but no sign-ups welcome.
Anyway, one year has passed. The couples have all had babies. The naming rules will vary from person to person.
There are no bad events in this round. But be warned: their may be a loss of a job, an affair, a divorce, a death in the family, or something else bad in later rounds. One of the spouses could even die. Anything can happen, so be prepared.
For the writing, write anything you want in addition to the event.

When pregnant, Jennifer could not determine whether the baby was a girl or a boy. This made it hard to think of names for the baby. They knew that the middle name would be Jade, as they loved it on both a girl and a boy, but they had troubles with finding the first names. Romano prefers the name to sound a bit Italian, however Jennifer liked either really long names or really short names. Lacey was on their shortlist and when she came out R&J just knew that she was a Lacey. Parents and Baby are now doing well.

Random event: Zach and Vaida bought a new house! The house is on a farm in ontario. it is quite large and needs some work done on it.The Kitchen is beautiful. It has marble counter tops andbeautiful cabnents. the familyroom is medium sized and looks a bit out dated with wood paneling. There are 4 bedrooms and a Master bedroom suite. The master bedroom has 2 walk in closets and a large bathroom with a tub shower and 2 sinks. There are 2 bathrooms on the top level that are shared with the 4 rooms. The rooms are all decent sized. the basement is not finished they plan on finishing it and putting in a bathroom, office and a place for Allie and her future siblings to play. Allies room is pink with white furniture and has lots of cats. there are 4 acres of farm and the family planns to buy horses and other farm animals.

Roman was name Kelly fell in love with after hearing of two of her favourite actresses, Cate Blanchett and Debra Messing naming their sons Roman. When she learned her baby was a boy she knew she wanted to name him Roman. The middle name Duke came Josh, Duke was a nickname that Josh's grandfather was commonly called.
A couple weeks after they brought Roman home, Josh and Kelly were out for a walk with the baby when they found a stray cat wondering around. Kelly being an animal lover instantly wanted to keep it, Josh, however, was at first hesitant, but quickly fell in love with it. In fact the cat became more Josh's than anyone elses. It was a female cat that Kelly named Molly.

Michael and Amelia were so happy when they found out that Amelia was expecting to have a baby. Not even a week after finding out the two started to talk about what they should name their future child. Michael orginally wanted to name him Michael John II, but Amelia was opposed to that since she thought it would get too confusing. After awhile they decided they liked the name Adam and the middle name John, which was after Michael. For a girl they like Rose Gracel.
However Adam was a boy. Michael and Amelia are delighted to have their first child and are looking forward to giving Adam a little sister or brother

Is it possible that I could get a different random event?
Or at least, ignore this one? I actually didn't see it and wrote my family's little story, and then went back and saw it. I really can't figure out how to work it in.
And, for accuracy's sake, my family is actually currently unable to adopt a child from China.

Very soon after they were married, Larry and Janis found they were expecting a baby. They weren't exactly planning it, since Janis still hadn't found work and Larry was very busy at the hospital almost all the time, but they were thrilled when they saw that thin blue line.
The left the sex of the baby a surprise until it's birth, and were very happy to have a son. Larry let Janis pick the name, as long as she ran it by him first, and she went through several names before they agreed on Mordecai, nicknamed Cai. They chose Noll as a middle name, even though it's a nickname. They just loved the sound of it.
Cai is now 2 months old and is a very happy healthy little boy. He has begun rolling over.
Larry and Janis Catchlove have Cai Catchlove.
