You got a set of three siblings from Turini, Italy and twins from Perth, Australia! All of them have been raised in Catholic households, and the Italian siblings continue to practice the religion strictly.
Antonia is a 16-year-old girl with dark brown hair and almost-black eyes. Her parents were killed along with her older brother Alessandro on a recent visit to Sicily. Her two surviving grandparents moved to the UK years ago and did not want the children to come to them. She has struggled with depression and bulimia in the past, but her ties to the church have helped her cope. She enjoys painting, reading magazines, and playing mother to her younger siblings. She is very pious and would love to become involved in a local religious outreach organization.
Giulia is 12 and is Antonia's younger sister. She is physically and emotionally healthy. She loves to play with animals and girls her age and takes a great interest in learning about other cultures, especially the United States.
Matteo is 9 and is the younger brother of Antonia and Giulia. He has mild A.D.D. which is currently controlled with medication and does not negatively affect his life. He likes school and science is his favorite subject. He enjoys playing with animals and toy trucks.
Josiah and Nicolas are 13-year-old twins from Perth, Australia. They were raised by a single mother who had to give up the boys for adoption after a drug conviction. The boys are identical and love to play tricks on their friends and teachers. They both have brown belts in karate and love all manner of sports.

One year later...
Antonia was upset at first that her grandparents didn't want to see her, but she got over it. We've heard they're quite nasty. The grandmother died soon after the adoption, and the grandfather died a few weeks ago. Antonia used her faith in God to help her get through this hard time.
Giulia is doing great! She has made many friends her age and has gotten a new ferret named Spice. We gave her an atlas of the United States for her birthday.
Matteo has been very happy lately. His medication is doing him well, and he has plenty of animals and toy trucks to play with.
Josiah and Nicolas were troublesome at first, but then they settled in quite nicely. Now they only play pranks when we are willing to. They have regular karate lessons and also learned to play soccer and tennis, and are teaching the others as well. Their mother was released a few days ago, but she is now in rehab and on probation. She misses them, so Josiah and Nicolas get to call her.
