Welcome Kathryn, Nevaeh, and Vera!

Kathryn Laurette, Nevaeh Leigh, and Vera Elizabeth are sisters from Miami, Florida. Katie is 11, Nevaeh is 9, and Vera is 6. They were living with their single mother until she disappeared nine months ago, likely related to drugs. No other family members could be found, so the girls went into foster care.
Katie is a quiet young girl in fifth grade. She has short strawberry blond hair that reaches just below her chin, and green eyes. She does well in school, but hates going because she has trouble making friends. Her foster family suspects she may have mild depression. Katie enjoys art and carries a sketchbook almost everywhere she goes.
Nevaeh is a boisterous child, in fourth grade. She has wavy light brown hair and green eyes. She has trouble focusing in school due to having ADHD. Nevaeh enjoys playing badminton, swimming, running, and most other outdoor activities.
Vera is the medium between her two older sisters. She has long, dark brown hair, and light blue eyes. She loves school and makes friends easily. She enjoys most activities, especially singing, playing at the playground, reading, and playing with Barbie dolls.

Thank You
One year has gone by and Katie, Nevaeh, and Vera are doing great and our whole family absolutely adores them. The girls also like having so many brothers and sisters.
Katie is starting to become less shy and has made some good friends that she likes to have come over. Katie has recently started taking art classes, and she is very talented. We have also been helping her with her depression and she is getting better.
Nevaeh is a very happy girl. She has recently joined a badminton team, which she loves. She often plays sports with her brothers, and is usually better at the sports than they are. We have also been helping her with her ADHD and she is doing better in school.
Little Vera is one of the most popular girls in second grade. Vera is also getting good grades. She still loves singing, playing at the playground, reading, and Barbies. She has recently started taking singing lessons, which she thinks is fun.
Thank you for these three wonderful children. We look forward to adopting from you in the future.
