The Lockharts took the poor little creatures to a nearby animal shelter who said they would try and find the owners. A fortnight later they called back to say they hadn't found the dogs' home and that the dogs would now be put up for adoption. Jakob and Charlotte knew what to do straight away. Sanna and Carl-Axel were excited after having had Frida and Oskar to continue their family.Suddenly discovering, after months of trying, that Sanna was pregnant was an enormous surprise and the rest of the children were delighted. While doing the laundry, Sara found a faint smell of cigarettes in one of Jonas's t-shirts, which was strange because Bill quit smoking over 10 years ago and she quit before Kat was born. She asked him about it but he just said that it was because some of his friends smoked. Sara wasn't too pleased, so she tried to ask Eva if she knew anything. Eva is an absolutely terrible liar, and she eventually had to admit that Jonas smoked at school. He was grounded and his allowance is now under scrutiny, aside from the talk Bill and Sara had with him. He's still a little hostile towards Eva, though...

While playing in the fields at the back of our house Nattie fould a cardboard box with 2 tiny puppies in it. When she first brought them home we thought they'd never make it, but thanks to the united efforts of the children (and a heck of a lot of Robin's spare baby bottles!) they pulled through. Caspar and Clara are now part of the family.

Mattie has always been a bit of a rebellious child, she's very much her own person, and lives by her own rules. Usually, she's sensible in the choices she makes (even if her father and I don't agree with them...), so we couldn't beleive it when we got a phone call in the wee hours of sunday morning to pick her up from the police station!
We got there and sure enough, our Mattie had been arrested for indecent exposure! I'll tell you, there is very little that is more embarrassing as a parent than picking up a child from the police station! She and a few friends of hers and got their hands on some alcohol and gone skinny dipping in the fountain in the town square! What were they thinking?!

Natalie recently found two golden retriever puppies outside while she was playing. Of course, the children wanted to keep them, but John and I insisted that they put up 'found' posters to see if the owners could be located. After having the posters up around the neighborhood for quite some time, we agreed to let the kids keep the puppies. They named them Max and Lucy, and both have become a close part of the family.

Diana recently got an eye test, and we found out she needed glasses. Diana is very timid and sweet, and her first day of school wearing her new glasses, she came home crying and told us she would never go back to school because some of the boys in her class called her a dork and a four-eyes. I felt so sad for my little girl! Kit and I talked to her and told her how pretty WE thought she was with glasses, and that it didn't matter what mean little boys think. They would get used to it. It took a lot of convincing, and she still wasn't pleased about it, but we gave her enough confidence to go back to school and ignore the other kids. She really does look very cute in her glasses! :-)

Tobias finds a baby boy on your doorstep with a note saying that his bio parents can't take care of him. Do you adopt him?
About a month ago Tobias found a baby boy on our doorstep. We immedietely took the baby inside and called the police. After research was done, the baby's parents were know where to be found. We have adopted Robin and he is a cute addition to our family.

We just found out that Amanda's boyfriend was abusive. Amanda didn't tell us because she was scared but eventually we found out and we was so angry! not at her, but on Chad. We talked with Amanda and the next day she broke up with Chad and we told him to never contact us again. We also went to the police and last week the police called us. Chad was arrested since he had beaten another girl so hard and much that the doctors didn't know if she would survive.
We were so relieved that that girl wasen't Amanda! Amanda was of course shocked and ashamed that she didn't told us before.
In the middle of all this, we also welcomed another daughter, our last, Natalia.
