On the ultrasound scan it became apparent that Mathias and Cecilia were expecting twins; two boys. However, as Cecilia gave birth they discovered that she had in fact been carrying triplets. Baby Emma had been hiding behind her brothers the whole time! Katja and Lucia were particularly thrilled to meet their surprise baby sister.
Katja had been playing at the park near our home when she heared two distant voices calling for help. She followed the voices and found that two teenage boys that had been paddling in the river had got trapped on a small islet with the river level rapidly rising following the heavy rain earlier that day. Katja ran back home to raise the alarm so a call to the emergency services could be made.
