It was a big joy to everyone to find out that just 2 years after Tristan's birth Viviana was pregnant again! Only, it turned into a nightmare when the doctor told her she wasn't having only one baby, nor two for that matter: she was having octuplets. The doctors advised her to go under selective reduction, and she and Eric were devastated, but in the end they went with that decision. It was horrible for Kat and Hugo to almost relive their own first pregnancy: it brought back the memories of their two lost children and of almost losing Sophia too. Even though they hadn't made the same decision 16 years before, they were very supportive of Eric and Viva in this time, and so was the whole family. Three of the fetuses were terminated. And at just 26 weeks of gestation, Gabriel, Dani, Bobby, Michelle and Lillie were born. Gabriel and Dani didn't have any major problems, but Bobby and Michelle had to spend a lot of time in the hospital and Lillie had to go under several surgeries. But one year after their birth, thankfully they're all home and better.
Viva, Eric and their (now) 8 kids were visiting Kat and Hugo when Niamh and her boyfriend Adrian told everyone the big news: she was pregnant! At first Hugo was a little mad that she had gotten pregnant at such a young age, and Kat had to remind him that she was the same age when she had the first six! It was even more of a surprise when the couple announced they were having triplets!!! At this point George suggested that the whole family should create a company called "Multiple Pregnancies Inc" - Making Fine Babies for 17 years, which earned him a smacking from his mother. Still, Whit, Will and Winter were born a little bit ahead of term, but thankfully healthy.
