All these families live in one neighborhood. A new family moved in this round, they’re at the bottom.
The Baker Family

It’s another girl for the Bakers. They’d like something uncommon that sounds nice with Everett and Willow, and it cannot start with J.
The Xylander Family

DD: Nyx Yuzuki Xylander [8]

Greg is very excited; his fourth child is going to be a boy! Once again, he wants a Greek mythology name, and Masami wants a Japanese middle name. As usual, it’s nice if the names connect (like Nyx is the goddess of night, and Yuzuki contains the element Zuki, meaning moon)

A little girl is on the way for the Saunders (just one this time!) and Christine, as much as she loves her children, wishes her names were used more in the first name spot—it’s sort of uneven right now. Stephen agrees, and he and Christine will pick a name from only Christine’s list this time. However, Stephen would like it if the child had a “normal” or more common nickname. (ie, if Lily’s name had been Seraphina Lily, he would have called her Sarah)

Kevin and Matt are adopting two kids—a brother and a sister from the US. Their names are Kyler and Skyler. Kyler says he usually is called Kyle, and that’s what he’d like to change his first name to. He says he doesn’t like his middle name, Quincy, at all, and would like that changed as well. They also plan to change Skyler’s name, but they’d like it to sound similar to Skyler—they don’t want to confuse her brother. Her middle name can also be changed. For their middle names, Matt likes Jewish names, as they honor his heritage, and Kevin likes names in the bottom 500 of the top 1000 list.

Izzy and Beck have just moved into the neighborhood with their daughter, Dev. Getting pregnant with Dev was easy for them (a little too easy, you know? ;]), but they’ve been having trouble since then. They tried a few rounds of a fertility treatment—and it finally worked! They’re expecting triplets, two boys and a girl, and would like them to have interesting names with off-beat (and possibly opposite gender) nicknames, like the whole family has. They’re open to names from other cultures, like Dev’s. They aren’t really sure about middle names, however—Quinn was Beck’s maiden name, so they didn’t have to think about it. They’re thinking something unusual and fun, like the first names, but perhaps something that doesn’t have a nickname.
