A few weeks ago, Evan just left the house with no explanation as to where he was going and didn't return for 5 days. When he did finally return, I was overwhelmed with relief just because he hadn't answered his phone or anything the whole time I was gone, and the kids were really scared too. I was also extremely angry, but when he told me the reason, I totally understood. Evan is a cop, and was on a case that he couldn't tell anyone about and he felt horrible having to leave so suddenly, but he was doing his job. We had a short fight after he returned, but we are okay now.
