Hey! This is the second round of Behind the Name's favorite decade by names. Here is how I will figure out what the behind the name users' name choice best fits in:
I will give you a link to a different decade or time period everytime with the 100 most popular names per gender in the U.S. provided by the SSA everytime or another site if it was before 1880 like Elizabethan times. Important this is a change from last time. Then, I will ask you to pick your top 5 favorite names from the top 100 list per gender. I will ask you to rank your favorite names in a scale 1-10, 10 being the best like you would or have named your child that. I will average the numbers to see what the average ranking on liking the names of that decade and compare with the other decades at the end to decide what decade is the favorite. I will also add up all the votes from each decade to the all time classic favorite name or names.

A few days ago, I asked people to pick their favorite 5 names per gender from the top 100 list of the 1880s. Please if you voted last time, rank your names if you want. I figured ranking would be better to tell. I have your user names in alphabetical order to make it easier. Sorry. You can still vote for the 1880s if you haven't.

Now, for this round we are doing a late decade...the 1990s! Pick your top 5 favorite names per gender. Rate on a scale 1-10 how much you like them below the other votes from before. 1 is awful and 10 is so beautiful you would or have named your child that. Some of you did not last time do this...reply to the person before with your votes. Add your votes to the previous voter(s)'. If the name is already there in () write (2) or (3) or etc. Thanks Ariel for helping with that.
