Carys has just finished up writing her first novel and went out to celebrate with her new boyfriend Brodie and they both got terribly drunk, one thing led to another and three months later Carys found out she was pregnant. She and Brodie were happy, as they've been planning to marry and start a family, it's just all happening a bit sooner than they expected. The couple decided to marry before the baby was born as Carys's new book is gaining popularity and Brodie, a struggling actor, had just landed a role on a popular TV show in the UK where they live. They had a small family ceremony in July, before the baby was born.
On October 26th, at 8:06pm Carys gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that her now married parents named Tabitha Kiersten Franklin. Tibby, as they will call her, has her mommy's blound hair and her daddy's blue eyes and is just adorable!
Carys is enjoying being a mother but it leaves little time for writing, at least in these first few months so she has taken to recording her story on a tape recorder and has hired a secretary to transcribe it with all the many baby cries mixed in. :) But it can't be helped, Carys A. Kramer's second book 'Homicide at Trickledown Lake' is set for publication next year!
