Eight year old twins Brian James and Sara Ann were found a few years past in an abandoned hut after an outbreak of the black plague. Their two older siblings and their parents were taken by this fever, and Sara narrowly survived. Brian is a strong lad, who has never had the fever in his life. He enjoys sport and wants to work for the king when he grows older. Sara is quiet, but enjoys the company of others. She likes sewing especially. They are commoners, and they had very little money growing up.
