Tzofiya Feige is a two year old girl from Isreal. She suffers from mild Autism. Her cousin, Livna Shani is three and is paralyzed from the waist down. Both girls love to do puzzles and watch tv together.
Juli Katalin is a newborn baby from Hungary. Her parents abandoned her after she was born. Juli is a very weak baby but will gain strength as she grows. We hope they all fit in with your family!

Ziva Liat, Ariel Kreine, and Hadas Tovah who are three best friends from Isreal. Ziva's parents died in a car crash a couple of years ago, Ariel's family took her in. When Ariel's parent's died in a bombing accident a year later they decided to try living on their own. They met up with Hadas a couple months later who had run away from a crowded home. Ziva is now nine, Ariel is twelve and Hadas is ten and a half. All three girls feel like sisters.

One Year Later
Dear Adoption Agency:
thank you so much for blessing us with such little angels! We have given Ziva and Hadas new first names: Sarah and Esther, respectively. But we've kept their birthnames as their middle names. It is a tradition in our family to keep two middle names anyway.
The first couple of months really put what little hebrew I know to the test! My husband is of Jewish descent, and we both speak a little bit, but it was definitely a challenge to communicate! The girls had each other though, I could tell it made the transition a little bit smoother.
One huge challenge was helping Alden (our oldest) get over the 'disappointment' that he was no longer the oldest. In fact all three girls are older than he is. He has grown to look up to them though. I know it was hard for he and Lael (our youngest), to accept 3 more sisters--boys have a hard time with that for some reason. But they all have grown very close. Especially Lana -- she loves having sisters.
We have been travelling a lot-- I am a UN consort, so we travel a lot between home in Mali and Israel or Europe. This last year we've made many trips to Israel & The girls have shown us their hometowns and we even met Esther's (Hadas') parents. I couldn't really understand them, but Esther told me later, through tears, that her parents were grateful we could give her a healthy happy home where they couldn't. It's hard for her to know her birth family still lives and she's not living with them.
We have grown a lot in this past year as a family. It has definitely been a challenge, but not an impossible one. We thank God every day for the blessings these girls have brought to us. Thank you, Adoption Agency! Perhaps we will return to ask your services again some time.

Johana Erika and her little sister Barbora Zuzana Johana is eight, while Barbora is five. Barbora is easy to please. If you just give her a coloring book and some crayons she'll be pretty happy. Johana has always wanted to visit a farm and ride a horse. We thought she would be perfect for your family because of the horses you own.

Update!
It's been one year since we officially adopted Johana and Barbora into our family. We've given them the nicknames Hana and Barbie. Lydia and Rory enjoy playing with the girls. Levi was hoping for a boy, but he isn't too bothered by Hana and Barbie. Hana is now nine, and has entered third grade. Barbie is in first grade. The girls are happy, and like riding the horses. Barbie draws pictures with Rory and Ty, and they paste them all over the place.

Congrats Hunter Family! You have been blessed with...
Roxana Yessenia, Graciana Rebeca, Ursula Calixta, Carlito Silvestre and Chuy Natanael are five year old quintuplets from Mexico. Roxana and Graciana are inseperable! They often have little "concerts" for their pet hamsters, Ximena and Miguela. Obviously they both want to be singers when they get older. Ursula has Autism. However, she is very musically inclined when it comes to the harp. And she has an amazing calendar memory, meaning you can tell her any day in history, and she can tell you what day of the week it fell on. Chuy and Carlito want to play football! They have a little soft football they like to play with outside.
Rong Qiu and Nuo Tai are two year old siamese twin girls from China. They are attached at the shoulders. It would be a risky operation, but doctors believe that they could seperate them. Rong and Nuo both love animals and have a pet dog named Wen.

Roxana Yessenia, Graciana Rebeca, Ursula Calixta, Carlito Silvestre and Chuy Natanael are five year old quintuplets from Mexico. Roxana and Graciana are inseperable! They often have little "concerts" for their pet hamsters, Ximena and Miguela. Obviously they both want to be singers when they get older. Ursula has Autism. However, she is very musically inclined when it comes to the harp. And she has an amazing calendar memory, meaning you can tell her any day in history, and she can tell you what day of the week it fell on. Chuy and Carlito want to play football! They have a little soft football they like to play with outside.
Rong Qiu and Nuo Tai are two year old siamese twin girls from China. They are attached at the shoulders. It would be a risky operation, but doctors believe that they could seperate them. Rong and Nuo both love animals and have a pet dog named Wen.

These last 18 months have been insanely crazy! As a family, we realized we had out grown our present 4 bedroom home and decided to build a much needed larger house. Mark's parents and my parents both live in the same city so we moved there for three reasons: 1, we wanted the kids to know and have a relationship with their grandparents, 2, it would give us a few more 'cheap' babysitters ;)
and 3, we could get enough land cheap.
Kseniya and Stasya (we kept all the kids real names to honor their heritages) whom we call Kensie and Stacy, have adapted well. They can be stubborn at times, being the oldest kids in the family. When they become extra rebellious, the refuse to speak English and only speak Russian. Occasionally we can comprehend some of what they are saying, but usually we just wait for the phase to pass. We have enrolled Kensie in some special classes that help her with social behaviors. Sometimes Stacy goes with her and they both actually have been learning alot. The walls of the new bedroom they share are covered in paintings, drawings, collages and framed puzzles that they contribute.
Kass, Roxie, Janie, Jacki, and Zach have settled remarkably well. Our Sarah loves having 5 'best friends' in her house at all times. Kass has taught her some dance and they are quite the pair together. For Roxie and Janie, we adopted 2 dogs and a parakeet that they 'help' take care of. With all the kids and all the animals, it can be a zoo here sometimes! Jacki loves playing babies with Sarah who is more than willing to play. Zach and Mark and Joey are almost unseperable. Those three disappear and do 'man' things all the time. We have a large dirt pit out back and thats usually where you will find them. Sometimes Janie joins them, if they let her.

Elisabeta Violeta is a newborn baby from Romainia. She is a good child, and doesn't cry often. Elisabeta sleeps all through the night already! Her mother died in childbirth, and her father left before she was born.
Jamshed Arash is a three year old boy from Iran. His parents were killed in a tragic bombing accident. Jamshed loves music! He wants to play drums in a band when he is older, so don't be surprised if you find him banging on stuff at home!
Maya Indu is an eight year old girl from India. She mourns the loss of her parents, who died just six months ago. Her only comfort is that she is going to a new family and her tiger cub, Lila. She has accpeted the death of her parents and has realized how lucky she is to be in Canada. She's very bright and excelling wonderfully in school, Grade 4 French Immersion. She has many friends and enjoys Math and Science. She also really loves Art. Lila, her baby tiger, is now in the Vancouver Zoo, where she is able to visit her everyday. Along with learning French, and English we are also keeping her Indian language and heritage alive. She has many Indian native friends who she sees everyday and we have a babysitter who only speaks the language. We've also changed her middle name Indu to India, to link her to her heritage.

Alice is now 7 and in grade 2 French Immersion. She likes when the babysitter comes so she can learn Indian. Oksana Olena and Kalyna Alla are three year old twins from Ukraine. Both are deaf. Oksana loves to draw and is very talented. She always has wanted to take art lessons. Kalyna has a natural knack for just about any kind of sport. She really enjoys swimming. Doctors believe it may be possible that they could hear if they had hearing aids.

Thank you so much for these beautiful children! We have had to move into a larger house because our old one simply wasn't big enough for eleven children.
Oksana and Kalyna are doing so well. We have signed Oksana up for art classes, and her teacher says she is one of the best students in the class. Kalyna has joined the local swim team and she is trying other sports to see which ones she likes best. We got hearing aids for the girls, and they seem to be working pretty well. However, when they're at home, they prefer to communicate through sign language.
The quadruplets are adjusting very nicely. We decided to change their first names to Adeline, Clara, Philippa, and Beatrice because we didn't like their original names. The house is never silent with Adeline around. Clara has come out of her shell a bit, and she is making more friends. Her teacher says she is a wonderful student. Philippa is playing soccer and is also doing gymnastics. Beatrice is taking art classes, and we love to have her work around the house. Clara loves to sing while Adeline plays the piano. They sound so beautiful together!

Wasswa Kibwe is a nine year old boy from Africa. His parents died when he was very young from an unknown illness. His grandparents took him in until, they too, died. Wasswa is having a hard time coping with the deaths of his grandparents. He has a parrot named Kamaria that he is very attached to.
Persephone Alexandra and Calliope Chrysanthe are newborn siamese twins from Greece. They are attached at the hips. Doctors believe that they can be seperated. Their parents, unable to afford the procedure, gave them up for adoption in hope of a better life.
Jin-Ho Iseul and his younger sister Kyung-Soon Young are from Korea. After they were abandoned at only eight and two years old, Jin-Ho basically raised his little sister. Now twelve and six, Jin-Ho and Kyung-Soon really would like to have a family of their own.
Alannah Maeve is an eight year old girl from Ireland. She loves to play the harp and is very talented. Her dream is to make a CD with her harp music and sell it in stores across the country. Alannah has never had a harp leesson in her life, perhaps you should consider enrolling her???

What a difference a proper family can make. Everyone of our kids has grown both physically and mentally, here's an update:
We have enrolled both Twila and Mylee into singing lessons, and their teacher is amazed that, with their troubles, they can sing so well. They are now going from concert to concert, and attracting many outstanding applauses.
Twila is getting help for her anorexia, and slowly she is getting plumper. We have made a decision with her, that once she is 49 kilos (now she is 25), we will enroll her in a ballet class. That is speeding up the process, because she really wants to do ballet.
We sent Mylee to a place where they help if you are paralyzed, and yesterday she took her first steps! We are now encouraging her to walk as much as possible She is enrolled in an art class, and loves her new family to bits. She has many friends at school, whom we have met and they are all lovely.
Wasswa is still having trouble with the deaths of his parents and grandparents. We have been sending him to a psycologist, and he is almost perfect now. He loves playing with Alannah and Georgia, and we have allowed him to go out with his friends to the movies once every two months. He still brings Kamaria everywhere, but in learning english (which the phyc taught him), he has shortened the name to Kam. He feeds her every day, and checks her water, and playes with her.
Seph (Persephone) and Callie (Calliope) went to the doctors, and their seperation has finished. They are now seperate people! They love being seperate people, Seph has began to talk, and Callie is walking. They both love their family and even though they are only one, seem to understand what happened with their own parents.
Jin-Ho is 13 now, and is enjoying school. He is now not attached with his little sister as much, and hangs out with friends often. Kyung-Soon is seven now and has many lovely friends. She is learning english at school and is not relying on her big brother any more. She is a lovely person to have around the house.
Alannah has been enrolled in harp lessons and is doing well. Alongside her sisters they sound like the Oliver threesome. She loves playing with Georgia and Wasswa and her own friends as well.
Thankyou for the eight wonderful children, they are all setteling in well. We are not going to adopt any more right now, but are considering to in the future.

Dan and Willa were overjoyed to adopt twins Delilah Harmony and Tamra Ivory one year ago. The girls' names were changed to Adele Harmony (who is affectionately called Della) and Ivy Tamra; the couple wanted to preserve the girls' roots while giving them new names to represent their entrance into a new family.
A year later, it is a happy little family indeed. Charity Westchester started kindergarten this year, and she is happy to tell her classmates about her special little sisters. She loves to help Willa and Dan--or "help", as the case sometimes is, as when she got baby powder all over the twins' room!
Della is a beautiful little girl, with bright green eyes and messy blonde pigtails. She tends to be very loud and loves to sing songs. Ivy is somewhat quieter--but not much!--and prefers to play games like hide and seek.

Georgiy Spyridon and Makari Yakov are eight year old twins from Russia. They are both lactose intolerant. Their mother died in childbirth, and their father died in a tragic plane accident just last year. Georgiy and Makari are still recovering from the loss of their father. They have a cat named Ania that they are very attached to.
Madhur Shailaja and Jyotsana Ila are siamese twin girls from India. After birth their parent's decided to give them up for unknown reasons. Madhur is blind, but Jyotsana is not. They are only about 6mo. And doctors believe that they can be seperated.
Please let us know how they are doing and feel free to apply for more children if you like!

One year later...
Thank you for giving us such wonderful new additions! Mitchell loves to play with his new brothers and sisters. In fact, Mitchell, Georgiy, and Makari are very close now.
Georgiy and Makari just turned nine. They have been seeing a specialist once a week to work no their English and cope with their father's death. Both boys are doing much better. :) We are careful not to feed them any dairy products. Georgiy has found a desire to paint recently. He is a great artist. Makari loves to play baseball and he even joined a rec team. He plays shortstop. Their cat, Ania and our cat Tybalt get along nicely, too.
Madhur and Jyotsana were seperated a few days after their first birthday. It was a long recovery, but they are fine and seperate now. We are very glad everything worked out alright. Madhur has an aid to help her learn to walk and help her do daily activities with her blindness. Jyotsana is very happy and talks some now.
