Because I have not been getting online as much these days it may take awhile to post the rounds.
There will be 10 rounds with the last 4 being multi-generation rounds.
All births and genders have been determined using a 12-sided die.
If you want to play, each round, you must write a letter to your parents telling them about their grandchildren and how they are going. This is because I love hearing how different players chose to tell their story.

Dear Mom and Dad,
We hope this letter finds you both doing very well. We're writing to let you know that our family has grown by four, though under tragic circumstances. Jason's brother, Adam, and his wife, Sara, were in a terrible car accident a couple of days ago. The doctors at the hospital did all that they could do save them, but their injuries were just too much. They left behind three young boys, Jacob, Ben, and Luke, and Sara was pregnant with their first daughter. Doctors were able to save the baby, a beautiful little girl, who looks just like her mother.
Jason and Adam were always very close, and Sara and I were like sisters, so it has been a very rough couple of days. We had an agreement between the four of us that if anything ever happened to any of us, the other would take care of the children. And so, now, Jase and I find ourselves with four more children, one who never even got to meet her parents.
Hoping they would make it through the accident, we chose not to name their little girl, but once they passed away, we knew a name had to be chosen. We decided to call her Sara Addison -- Sara for her mother, and Addison for her father. We know Addison means "son of Adam", but we wanted something that would honor both of her parents...so that she'd forever have a part of them in her life.
Jacob, who is eight, is the eldest, and has taken everything the hardest. He adored his father, and they did everything together. He and John have become very close, though, and he has opened up to Jase a lot as of late. Ben and Luke, who are five and four, have become attached at the hip, it seems. They have a hard time understanding what happened, but they do know that daddy and mommy aren't here anymore.

To Mama and Father,
It's Maya again! I have some more bad news to tell you this month. Spike's brother and sister-in-law, Tracks and Nina, have passed away in a car crash. Thank you. I honestly believe that your presence in the hospital room is what prompted Alaric to wake up. I am so, so grateful that you came in my time of need. The children still talk about you and your delicious cookies and silly singing constantly. Fallon is still mesmerized by the picture you drew him (you really should start painting again... you were so talented!), and Winnie and Yoana always wear the sweaters you knitted. They all miss you dearly, and I know I do as well. Nella is coming along magnificently, and she has her grandma's eyes. She can be persnickety like her grandmother as well... ;).
This letter does come with some sad tidings. Moon's sister, Soleil, passed away two weeks ago. Although she had conquered her alcoholism and hard partying ways over a decade ago, her wild side came back to haunt her when she developed liver cancer at such an early age. The whole thing was sudden, and as a result, left everyone in shock. I know you do not approve of Moon or his unique family, but this is still tragic all the same. Soleil has three children (with different, nonexistent fathers), and we have taken them into our home. Sorin, River, and Lucie are now members of our ever growing brood.
Sorin is 14 and a quiet, angsty teen. It is quite a shock to have a teenager in the house, but I am getting practice for the many years of attitude ahead!!
River is a delight--such a sweetheart. He and Fallon have both bonded over their broken pasts, and they are now best friends. They are very similar and get along fabulously.
Little Lucie is adorable, and she definitely has some spunk. Winnie and Yoana are not always sure about her, yet I think they will grow closer with time. All three kids are handling Soleil's death differently, but I think that they are adjusting as well as one could expect.
Hope to see you again soon; I know you must be hooked after meeting them all... it won't take as many pleads to get you to visit again.

I have no idea how we could have renovated the whole house in time if you hadn't been here... You were such an incredible help throughout the last few weeks, thank you so much! Helen's sudden death, the funeral, deciding to inherit the kids... it's been a lot of sad news and tough decisions lately.
The kids moved in yesterday, and Hayden and Riley fell in love with the cars you decorated their room with immediately! Dan and Amy were a bit jealous at first, because everyone but them got a "new" room, but when I talked to them about how hard it must be for Kailey, Hayden, Riley and the babys to lose their parents and that we have to do as much as we can to make them feel at home with us, they understood. Dan even considered to give all his matchbox cars to the boys, I had a hard time convincing him that one would do! Meanwhile Tessy declared herself surrogate mother to Dana and Ben. She's helping me so much with taking care of the babys, and she's already making friends with Kailey. The girls get along very well, though their personalitys differ like fire and ice. Tessy's still the shy and reserved one while Kailey's a real whirlwind! But somehow Tessy and her seem to have a special connection.. I guess it's 'cause Tessy knows best how the kids must feel right now, it's not that long ago that she's been in their position. *Sigh* My little angels... they are the best kids in the whole wide world! It's not easy having eleven kids around the house so suddenly - we're all still adjusting - but everyone's giving his/her best and I'm sure that everything will be fine soon. The adoption is not yet through, but I don't think adopting the kids should be any problem as Evan is their uncle and therefor their nearest relative now that Helen's dead. I'll keep you updated, but I've to go now... it's nearly 8, I've to take the little ones to the daycare and Sidda to pre-school, make sure that neither the boys nor the girls miss the schoolbus, clean the house, take Hercules to the vet... you see, it's never getting boring around the house!

Dear Mum,
Just over two years have passed since the death of Uilliam and I find each day that it doesn't hurt as much. Only when I think of him starting kindergarten with Rachel and Henry do I shed a tear.
Quir and I are really going to be busier than ever after the letter we had on Tuesday. As you know Quir's parents have been gone for some times now and his only sibling, his younger sister Mim hasn't been in contact with any of her family since she ran away from home when she was eighteen, eleven years ago. We had a letter from a lawyer on Tuesday, turned out to be Mim's lawyer. The letter was informing us that Mim had died of lung cancer in Virginia a week ago and her will left all of her property to her brother.
Poor Quir was quite perplexed as would be imagined and even more so when the lawyer told us that Mim's property were her three orphaned little girls! Quir and I are their legal guardians now and we had the choice of giving up that right and putting them into foster care or up for adoption or keeping them ourselves as foster children or adopting them legally. We're going to take it slowly at first, and will most likely adopt all three of them if they choose.

I have mixed feelings in this letter. Lance's sister died last week. Her husband had died several years earlier. Since we are her closest reletives we adopted her two daughters into our family. Fifteen year old Salem October is rather stubborn. When living with her parents, it appears she had the freedom to do things like stay out late, talk on the phone non-stop, date whoever she wanted etc. We just aren't too keen on these ideas. If they are going to live under our roof, They will have to abide by our rules. Am I being to harsh? Anyway, her little sister, Jada Sapphira, is very shy. She has beautiful deep blue eyes and red hair. She is used to living in her sister's shadow, but hopefully she will come out of her shell soon. Dear Mom and Dad,
Our niece and nephew went back to school today. Losing their mom was difficult for them, but they were both happy to go back to school and get back into a normal routine. We've had to make a lot of changes to make room for them. Ike has been moved into Carey and Blake's room. Natalie was sharing a room with Nuala and Tina, but we moved her into a smaller room and put Kate with Nuala and Tina. Natalie is 11 now and we think she's old enough to have her own room. North and Andy stayed put, and we moved Avery into the guest room. All the kids helped with the moving. They were a great help and I think it helped them get their minds off everything.
Merlin is doing fine. He and Nephthys were very close when they were kids, so this has been hard on him, but she had been sick for so long that it wasn't unexpected. So much has changed for us, and we're all still adjusting. We had talked about trying for one more baby once the twins were a little bit older, but I don't think that's going to happen now. Ten children in the house is plenty!

Dad and Mom,
Things here are calming down and everyone is getting along better then before. Ever since the loss of Brian you know I wasn't feeling myself, but I'm slowing getting better as you saw on your last visit.
Zoe, Bridie and Andrew have started kindergarden and love it. Andrew is doing exceptionally well and the teachers talk of putting him into a gifted class. The girls were jealous at first but they are okay now because they like the friends they have in their current class. Malachy is has his moments of loving and then hating school but he gives us little trouble. Alister is keeping me company while all the others are in school.
With the death of Talus's best friend Tito and his wife Merry, we had temporary custody of the kids as you know. All the legal work has since been taken care of and we now officially have custody of Gracie, Connor and Giovana. We've taken the steps to adopt them as well. The twins, Gracie and Conner, understand what happened to their parents and that they are living with us from now on but poor little Giovana still cries for her mommy and daddy and it breaks my heart. But I look upon these three as a gift. They won't replace Brian but they do fill a void that was in my heart.
Thank god for the large house we have. Everyone has a roommate but they are adjusting. And luckily the cafe is doing better then ever and we have opened two additional shops.
Well, Dad and Mom, I would write more but your grandchilden have homework that needs checking and there is dinner in the oven that needs checking too.

Dear Mom and Dad,
I wanted to let you know how Elijah and Jamie are doing. They're adjusting all right, but don't say too much. It''s going to be a rough couple of years without Henry and Jessie. We'll come and visit in a few weeks. Elijah is getting good grades in school, but his teachers are worried about him socially. I'm going to just let him have his space until he wants to deal with his parents' death. Matt, Judy, and Becca are also feeling the impact of Henry and Jesse's deaths. Matt tries to be helpful when he can, and is trying to help Elijah and keep him occupied. Judy and Becca are now sharing a bedroom with Jamie. They say she sometimes has nightmares, but Jamie doesn't say anything about them. Deirde and the younger children are kind of confused as to why their cousins live with us now. Deirdre plays with Jamie. She says she "likes to make Jamie happy". We've got such sweet children.

I hope this letter finds you both well. We have some bad news. Stu's sister Dazzle and her husband were killed in a car accident. Dazzle and I were very good friends and as you know I was god-mother to 3 of her children. Well it turns out that in her will she asked that Stu and I take the kids if anything ever happened to them. You are now a grandmother to Noa Salome who is 13, Selah Mehetabel who is 8, Havilah Candace who is 5, Obadiah Elijah who is 3 and Vashti Carmel who is 1. Dazzle loved her kids more than anything and we will do our best to give them the best home we can. The kids are doing well given the circumstances. Noa is taking it the hardest and at first she ran away but she has promised she won't do that again. We are moving into a bigger house because this place can't accommodate 11 kids. Our lot have been having some adjusting problems but they understand what has happened and why we had to take the kids. Carla follows Selah everywhere and they are becoming best friends. I have decided that with 11 children it is time to have my tubes tied. We hope you can come and visit soon. We love you so much.
