My Grandmother's name is Lovice no one is really sure if it was made up or if there is meaning behind it. If it helps she is 86 and mostly of english decent, maiden name is Swan. Thanx

I'd say it was a form of Lovisa, which is a feminine form of Louise. So, as Andy suggested, Lovice would indeed be a form of Louise.
