Not unless someone uses Zane as a form of Zayn / Zain or visa versa. Or someone wanted to "Anglicise" Zayn / Zain and so spelled it Zane.Zayn / Zain's Arabic and Zane's English/Danish. Though BtN doesn't say so, I've read that Zane may possibly be a form of John.Miranda

Yes I've heard from several places that Zane is a form of John. I even know a boy named Zane specifically because his fathers name is John (brothers are Sean, Ian, Jeannot and Yannis)I just thought that it was interesting that the two are so similar and yet aren't connected. So I thought I would see if anyone knew about an older connection between the two.Thanks for the help though!
