Sorry, but couldn't find any instance of use of that name, other than by a "Auvye Spear Burch" who appears in a genealogy on the 'net. Is this your Auvye?
If it is your Auvye (from Texas, and married in 1990), then I'm guessing that this is an invented name. Or possibly a variation of the name "Avery".
What makes you think the name is French, Dutch or Irish?
