Sabriel looks like a biblical Hebrew name, but I've done a search and it doesn't appear in the canonical bible. Some angel websites list Sabriel as the name of an angel.

If it is indeed a Hebrew name, then the final "el" element in the name refers to the Hebrew god (cf Michael, Gabriel).
