Challey's my cousin. Her parents died three years ago. Her parents died in an explosion in Azerbajan. She's only thirteen.
After seeing the way her parents died, she sorta went outta da ol' mind! She lives with us now. This isn't the first time she's done this. I now watch what she does and goes on.
Sorry for her behavior.

This is Challey's doctor...
...as it turns out, my inital diagnosis of 'menstrual cramps' might not be accurate. Menstrual cramps have not been ruled out, but, it might be priapism. We'll have to run some more tests to be sure.

A note from Challey's grandmothers...
Please excuse Challey from gym today. She has menstrual cramps. As you know, Challey was taken from her parents at a very young age, due to a spell cast on her by the evil fairy Malicifent.
We are Challey's legal guardians until she is 16, and we are very concerned for her security, and the disclosed knowledge of her whereabouts would put her, as well as the rest of the kingdom, in danger of spindles.
If necessary, we also have a doctors note, which we could fax to you.

Dear Marlee, Mellija and Michaela,
Thank you for your timely offer to fax us Challey's doctor's excuse.
We had already been informed by Challey's cousin/sister as to the fact that Challey's parents are now dead (terrible explosion in Azerbajan, we understand), and we could be assured of the fact that there would be no more indiscriminate breeding between the two.
Upon further investigation, we discovered that Challey, herself, might not even have been their unfortunate offspring, were it not for the fact that Challey's mother had been a bit slow in communicating her reluctance to her own brother (who was congenitally deaf due to generations of inbreeding -- by the time Challey's mother spelled out "STOP!" on her fingers, it was too late).
Rest assured that we will diligently "spindle-proof" our school gymnasium in recognition of Challey's special needs, and also contact our local animal shelter to see if they can give us the telephone number of a low-cost spay/neuter clinic which would be willing to accept Challey.

...and I want to apologize for her strange behavior. It isn't really her fault. Several years ago she witnessed a bizarre accident. I can't really go into details (by order of the court), all I can tell you is that it involved: a carpenter's square, three ferrets, a small lemur, a 2-liter of lemon-lime pop and a tin of SPAM. I think you get the picture.
Anyway, I'll make sure that she doesn't get out of her cage anymore.
