My name is Eva Collette and I was named after my grandmother who was from Venezuela but had decendants from Guadelupe which, correct me if I am wrong because I suck at history, has a lot of French influences. Does any one know how they pronounce the name Eva in French? In Spanish it is pronounced EH-vah. Here in America, the most common pronounciation is EE-vah (Which personally is my least favorite) and also I get AY-vah every once in a while. Which is the 'correct' pronounciation?
