I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that it is a masculine name... the feminine form would be Nectaria and a Russian version is Nectary.

Nectarios (or Nektarios) is derived from "nectar", the yummy sweet drink Greek Gods gulped down while munching on "ambrosia", their food for immortals.
