I was name by my uncle who served in World War II in Germany. While in Germany he had a girlfriend whos name was Ladosia.

From Googling, almost all the examples of this name that aren't in the USA come from Poland. So your uncle may have met this woman in Germany, but she, or at least her name, seems to have been of Polish origin. However, it's a rare name even in Poland and does not occur in my Polish name dictionary. If I find any more information, I'll post it.
