What meaning of Sarai are you familiar with?

I'm not quite sure about the name Sarai, but I always thought it was related to Sarah. God gave her a letter change, like he did with Abraham, giving both his letter. Either that, or I heard once that Sarai is a diminutive of Sarah (I doubt this is the case, but...) because it's spelled the same as Sari, which is definitely a diminutive of Sarah. Either way, Sarai is related to Sarah. Therefore, same meaning (which is more or less princess/female goverment minister in modern usage of the word).
This is what I've always thought, but it could very well be that I'm wrong and they're completely different names.
