I have come across the name Jervacae in a family document dating to the early 18th century staffordshire. The ae suggests to me that the name has been latinised but I am at a bit of a loss regarding what name Jervac is supposed to be.

I thought perhaps Jervais/Gervaise. Does anyone have any thoughts?
