I had my DNA done through ancestry and National Geographic. I am 20% Scandinavian. It wasn't coming from my father's side because first cousins only had a few percent. Wasn't from my maternal mother's side either because I have done a family tree on both sides. My grandfather's last name was Foss and didnt think it was that side because they came from Germany. Since discovering the name is from Scandinavia, the mystery is solved. The Foss` originally came from Scandinavia.
