I met someone named Koren, a boy who is Jewish. Does anyone know the meaning or anything else about it? It is pronounced like "Core-in".

Koren is the word in Hebrew for radiant, but I've never heard of someone named that. The word is said koh-REHN.

I don't think that's how they got the name, because it isn't used as a name, but it could be.

Do you have any reasons to suspect that a Jewish boy named Koren would have been named for Corinthians?
