Seckin - meaning or any other info?

My boyfriend's name is Seckin - he is Turkish, but his name is not on the list. I tried the option "search" but it didn't find anything.
Does anyone know what it means,or if I could find it somewhere?

Seckin or Seçkin seems to be not only a name, but an everyday Turkish word as well, meaning "excellent":

If your Turkish friend is speaking Turkish, maybe he is able to confirm this?
